This is a decent Gaming Laptop
I spent a lot of time researching for a new gaming laptop, having had a 17″, I7 with RTX2060 previously. This one is so light (1.9kg) compared to the 3kg I used to lug about and very fast, I’ve been really happy in the upgrade.A previous reviewer said that the graphics card is a Radeon 890M not Nvidia 5070, they’re talking rubbish, it has both. the 890M is part of the Ryzen 9 and is used in none demanding graphics and mainly when in battery mode, but plug the power in and load up a game, the RTX5070 kicks in.Noise wise, yes the fans kick in whilst playing games at full render, but it’s a gaming laptop, it has to cool down somehow. Compared to my previous laptop they are nothing, the fans raised the noise by about 15-17dB (50dB peak), my previous laptop was slightly louder to begin with but topped at 55dB.Battery power is ok about 3hrs running 2x powerpoints, 2x word documents, Outlook and three tabs in a browser at the same time for classes, my previous laptop was an hour.I’ve run some benchmarks and the results were great, handling rendering and games well as seen in the photos attached along with the hardware profile. My only two gripes are about the touchpad which is right on the edge and my hand positioning tends to catch it therefore shooting the cursor elsewhere, this will take time to get used to the new design but I also use a gaming mouse. The other is the storage, 2Tb is great, but they’re 2x 1TB drives taking up both slots. The drives are fast, but I had another 2TB drive (for games and files) I wanted to add, so I’ve had to remove one to fit it. taking me to 3TB instead of the 4TB I though I’d end up with.Otherwise its a pretty decent laptop!

    Decent lal Laptop
Decent lal thing. Anyone saying the graphics are wrong if you know anything about computers it has integrated graphics and an RTX 5070 it uses integrated normally when not connected to power then the actual graphics card when it is. I had to play around with some settings to stop this as if I’m just doing basic work and its plugged in I don’t need the high end graphics card. As for the stopping working after 5 months I have not had it that long so I can not comment but if that is the case then it will still be covered by product warranty and amazon warranty so just get your money back and go else where if it is an occurrence across all devices. all in all I would give it a solid 9/10. 2tb SSD could have been a single drive leaving a second for you to put another in but it isn’t too hard a work around, Laptop heats up when using the RTX 5070 so I do recommend a cooling pad:)

    Graphic cards
There are two graphics cards in the laptop. You need to set the application to the one you want the software to be used with.
