2025 ROG Strix G16 (G614) Unite Your Squad. Rise To Victory.
The Strix G16 draw more frames and win more games with Windows 11. Powered by AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070Ti Laptop GPU boasting a max TGP of 140W with Dynamic Boost, be ready to dominate the competition in all of the latest games.

Built with gamers in mind, the keyboard features spaced function keys for intuitive identification and dedicated hotkeys for quick access to essential commands, while per-key RGB lighting lets you choose from millions of colors on every key for endless customization.

You can’t beat the enemy if you don’t see them coming. The Strix G16 has an ultra-fast panel for every scenario, making sure you’ll never miss a moment. This Strix G16 has buttery smooth 16.0″ WUXGA (1920×1200) 165Hz, which has 100% DCI-P3 coverage and 3ms response times.

To accommodate such powerful components, the Strix G16’s chassis and motherboard were both designed to accommodate our full-width heatsink for more efficient cooling. The Strix G16 was able to push the performance envelope even further with Tri-Fan Technology that helps keep the GPU and VRAM cool.

When you need to plug into the big screen, the dedicated GPU powers an HDMI 2.1 port for the latest TVs and monitors, increasing total bandwidth from 18 to 48Gbps, and supporting up to 4K 120Hz and 8K 60Hz content. Two USB4 Type-C ports also allow for plenty of connectivity, including power delivery

Staggering performance for a laptop
Feels like a totally different tier compared to my old 4070 laptop that bit the dust.Don’t be put off by the screen being “only” 1200p. It looks amazing. Comparing to my old laptop which had a 1600p screen, it looks miles better. I see no jagged edges at all. Keep in mind 1200p on a 16inch display has more pixels per inch then a 32 inch 4k monitor. It will save you that VRAM for future and you wont have to back down from 1600 to 1200 non native when the games get more demanding. Native looks a good deal better. For now. You just dial up all the settings and enjoy 100fps+ in every game with ray tracing it’s no sweat at all for this thing.Only complaint I have that almost made me do a 4 star is that the laptop comes with 1 stick of memory not 2. So you are running in single channel mode. But you do have the opportunity to upgrade to 32gb duel channel without sacrificing the stick already in the machine.

Good gaming laptop
Had mine for about 5 months now absolutely amazing laptop high frames on every game I definitely recommend the 5070 ti with 12gb just amazing all round

Good to future proof
Upgraded from a TUF with a 3070 so good jump with VRAM and 12GB being a sweet spot fot future games so would recommend spending a little extra on a Ti than the regular 5070 version as started hitting the wall on newer games with 8gb Vram previously

Was nice when it wasn’t crashing
When it worked it was brilliant, however after having it only for a month it had frozen 3 times and blue screened 4. 2 of those times all I was doing was writing. The LED where also very fussy. Sometimes they refused to listen to the Armory Crate instructions. Returned it for refund, Amazon support were amazing. Two stars because when it was functioning, it was very good.
