Works well, wouldn’t be without it
Didn’t fancy renting as costs would stack up so buying seemed more sensible. Easy to set up and it just works. I did play with positioning and I tried out a few spots before finally settling on the best place. This one extender has replaced all the ethernet over power extenders and three BT mini whole home extenders and I now have solid and fast wifi all over our property and someway outside. Curiously most things connect to the extender rather than the hub but the hub is poorly positioned and the extender overcomes this. Very happy with this purchase which has been completely reliable for 9 months since purchase.

Best EE WiFi extender
Great product, EE would not sell one to me and told me pay £10 a month for this same product. 100% works well and now myHome was full WiFi in areas It didn’t before. Super fast delivery. Setup was very easy.

Didn’t work
It paired with my router OK, but made no difference to signal strength at all. Made me wonder if it was working. Returned for a refund.

Plug & Play – Great Signal
Whilst I find EE equipment to be far more robust and superior to BT’s, the same cannot be said for their APP; however fortunately this is really not required to set up this ‘Extender’.Method 1: Power on the Extender and hit the WPS button on BOTH the Extender & main hub. Wait for the light on the Extender to turn solid Aqua and job done.Method 2 (More robust if you experience a problem with method 1): Connect the Ethernet cable (supplied) between the Extender and a spare port on the hub. Power on Extender and wait for the light to turn solid Aqua. Once stable; disconnect the Ethernet cable and wait again for the light to turn solid Aqua. The Extender can then be moved to the desired location once either of the above pairing methods has been completed. Plug in Extender and wait for the light to turn solid Aqua. Give it 5 minutes and if this fails, try moving the Extender to another location closer to the main hub.Improved the signal at the front of my house (main hub towards the rear) from circa 60% to 95% and works perfectly.Tip: Mains reset any devices that you have previously had signal problems with to encourage them to latch on to the Extender as opposed to the main hub.
