Easy setup and does the job.
Very very easy to setup and after a month or so it has drastically improved the reliability of the WiFi connection for multiple devices in a room that is otherwise a blackspot for the standard WiFi router. Only downside is that it is WiFi5 only, but given the price that is a fair trade, and now having tried this one, if I were to buy again I’d be confident enough in the reliability to spend a little more for the WiFi6 and higher speed version.

Decent solution for medium usage.
Set up a little tricky but otherwise boosts signal as described. Those with larger houses or say gamers requiring higher bandwidth/speed may well need something different.

Terrible. Avoid.
Would be zero stars if I could give it that. The set up was easy and took less that five minutes. However the Wifi would not extend beyond what I already had in place and would keep dropping out and connecting to the original wifi which had poor signal. This does not extend 1,200sqft, it barely extends 6ft!!!

Fast & Reliable Wired Internet
Have an Orbi Mesh but using an old Apple AirPort Express to provide cable internet to my hifi amp was slow and unreliable. Using the EAX12 with the WiFi. Extension turned off provides a very fast and reliable network signal.

Frustrating
This is not Plug-and-Play; you need to download an App. More Passwords and Logins.Worse still – when the Internet Provider (Vodafone) went down yesterday it did not automatically reconnect once the Internet was restored. It was impossible to log onto the Extender but the tried and tested method of unplugging and replugging worked OK.The range is no more than the cheaper extender I already have.In summary, too complicated for it’s own good.

WiFi booster/extender
This was easy to setup, press the WPS button on both the extender and the router, et viola! Repeat the process if you have dual band (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz), and it’s all set. It needs to be positioned between the router and the blind spot, this is important, as putting it in another blind spot will not give the required outcome. I found a good spot by walking around with my phone, and getting the best signal between the two areas. I then plugged it in there (I had to use an extension cable, for optimum signal), after setting it up next to the router. This actually gave me the signal that I required (excellent and good, constantly), in the area I spend most of my time (laptop, phone and telly, all connected). I am more than satisfied with this product, and would recommend to anyone with signal blindspots. I even purchased a used item (good as new, a return I presume), which as stated, was as good as new. Next day delivery, good price, accurate description. What more could a customer want. Oh yeah, something that works…One proviso, I tried the app (Nighthawk), which led to frustration. It seemed to create problems, so I deleted it and continued with the already working set-up. Not recommended.

Straightforward set up using wps
Using Zen Internet and Fritz! Box XA (WiFi 6) Setup via the app found my device quickly but did not recognise the WiFi passwords. Contacted chat support and was sent setup options. They suggested trying wps and it connected first time. Very straightforward and working well now with improved upload and download speeds in previously poor areas of my home.As this unit plugs directly into an electrical socket I used an extension to mount it on top of a shelving unit. I may decide to install a wall socket high up.
