Perfect for extended WiFi needs across premises
Extremely pleased. Working great for my needs. Setup out the box requires minimal technical skills. Pleased with the easy of use to the standalone Omada management interface of the AP’s.In terms of performance I have been able to achieve 400+Mbps of internet access to the Main AP at a distance of 100m with clear LOS, this obviously fluctuates due to interference and having the WiFi channel selection set to auto, but it is providing more than an adequate amount of bandwidth for my needs regardless.

Worked out of the box…
I needed a wifi connection from house to shed, about 50m distance. The shed has no mobile signal.The bridge worked instantly, with good signal strength and a stable connection. I can now make wi-fi calls from the shed as well as monitor an alarm and camera.The app is confusing but thankfully not needed for my application.Highly recommended.

Excellent product except for one weird omission
Excellent product in terms of performance, but there is one weird issue with what is supplied.Previous external WiFi products I have purchased from TP-Link are supplied with brackets which you can fix to a wall, and the units then slide into them. These EAP211 units have the same type of moulding on the back of them, and actually fit into the bracket for (eg) the EAP225-Outdoor, but no brackets are supplied with the EAP211.This is very odd penny-pinching on the part of TP-Link – the brackets must be almost costless for them, but the absence is a real nuisance because without them it is REALLY hard to fix them to a wall.The only fixings that are supplied are two white cable ties, which will work OK for fixing to a pole, but sometimes you don’t want to do that but do want to fix them to a wall. For the trivial cost of a pair of plastic brackets, why not supply them to give customers a choice of how to mount the units?

Brilliant, very easy and fast, will use again
Excellent. Easy to setup, easy to align as they have built in alignment software, works perfect. Just make sure you update the firmware first, because in the older software there is no alignment feature

Stopped working after 2 days
Not great worked for like 2 days then just constantly stopped the bridge. Soent days trouble shooting changing cables and what not with no success. May have got a faulty unit but disappointed

Excellent when it works!
The wireless bridge kit is very well designed and easy to setup via the Omada app. There are a number of features in the app to check the connection, signal strength and WiFi channel. I was utilising the bridge over a distance of just 20 metres with a clear line of sight and the signal strength was great (According to the app) with download speeds equal to my main network. The bridge worked okay for a few hours and then it kept dropping the signal. My main network was fine so I carried out a factory reset and changed the Ethernet cables but the problem persisted. I removed the devices and placed them about 3 metres apart and factory reset the devices again followed by a fresh setup but once again the network dropped the signal. Connecting the network to a computer by Ethernet made no difference.I have 25 years experience with networks and have spent hours trying to troubleshoot the problem and my conclusion is the devices have a fault.I was willing to replace the item and try again but sadly the only option was a refund because the item was sold by a marketplace seller.

Easily extend and bridge your WiFi to a distant outbuilding
Excellent product which has a superb range, is simple to implement as it’s part configured and you can use either the suppliers cloud based tool or directly connect to each bridge, both options are well explained.Note it needs both bridges to have “line of sight” of each other in order to extend wifi at a good speed to a distant outbuilding.I also purchased a tp-link internal ceiling mounted Access Point for the destination building and I now have great WiFi where there was previously no signal.One shortfall is the bridge only comes with a single passive power over ethernet injector, most people may need to buy a second to implement their solution.Also you potentially need to purchase mounting poles or posts to mount your bridges, and to complete implementation you may also need appropriate network cables to configure it to your network.Customer service from TP-link is also excellent and fast by chat or email.

Great connectivity
Perfect for getting super fast internet to the end of my 80m garden where my mesh was struggling to reach. Easy to set up and worked ‘out of the box’.
