Great product
Does what it says on the tin and then some more. Great product, worth the price. Small, easily configurable. Given its size, it’s a really surprising powerhouse of a router and repeater. Put in between a remote network and the devices, it turned around the situation of “there’s almost no internet at all” into “it’s more than enough for everything”. Great speed, all bells and whistles present: VPN, guest networks, mobile app. Swiss Army knife of travel routers. Highly recommended.

Punches above its size
Picked this up on offer and it’s a great little router. I’m using it to replace my ISP router in a 3-bed house, which the ISP one always struggled with. Even positioned in a far corner, with antennae folded, the Beryl 7 gives better signal than the full-size ISP router in the same spot. The feature set is excellent. I can route specific devices through VPN at the router level rather than running it locally, and there’s secure DNS I use for an ad blocking resolver, though it can also handle that locally. It maxes out my symmetric 900mbps connection without issue over WiFi, and with VPN active I’m still seeing around 800mbps, which is impressive.Long term I may pick up a Flint router for home and keep this dedicated to travel, but for now it’s doing both jobs well. If I’m away for a stretch I can just swap the ISP router back in. Thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent little router
Excellent little router works perfectly in the US to a VPN in the UK for 2 weeks full coverage in an 5 bed massive villa, also works with SONOS roam which Beryl doesn’t.

Excellent travel router
Fantastic travel router, especially paired with the brume 3 as an amnesia wireguard server

Great little device
Great. I bought this to create a separate home wifi network for some new devices and it was very easy to set up, it’s small and can be tucked away out of sight. I would recommend

Great
A very useful device-This travel router is great for use both home and away. I’ve been using it at home as a wifi extender and it’s been great. It has wifi 7 which is very good and the signal is superb!. It now means that I get a clear wifi signal in my garden. Despite my ISP router being in the middle of the house, it struggled to reach the outdoors which is less than ideal in the summer. Despite its compact size, this thing packs a punch-Another area it excels is the list of features. Most aren’t things I would use, but for the advanced users you will certainly be impressed. There’s a whole list of things you can do on their website. And while I’m on the subject, the instructions for this on there are pretty clear and easy to understand. It’s ease to setup with the assistance of the app too. Linking a VPN was a little fiddly but I got there in the end-This device has got a firm place in my travel bag now. At over £124 it isn’t cheap. But if you travel a lot, use multiple devices, or require a ready to go vpn across multiple devices, then you’ll know this device is certainly worth it

Outstanding portable router
Outstanding piece of kit. Easy to configure with all plenty of options for network setup on the input and output side. VPN setup is flawless for added security on public networks. 2ghz, 5ghz and MLO connectivity wia WiFi as well as LAN. Very low power, easily runs for many many hours on a standard powerbank. Overall exceptional value for money.

Perfect solution for remote access to homelab and self-hosted services.
Recommended by a friend to solve the problem of VPN and Tailscale access on devices where the software can’t be installed, I bought this router and have already found to be easy to set up and put to use. Everything you need is included in the box, particularly the USB-C charger (with UK, EU, US and Australia adapters) which has sufficient power to keep your phone charged while you are tethering it via USB. Plenty of guides online for things like updating the Tailscale client version and setting up various wireguard VPN clients.

I have another router from GLiNet so I knew when to expect when I purchased this one. I wanted it for traveling and have been very happy with it. The user interface and software support are awesome, fast, responsive, and feature rich. I configured it at home with VPN (PIA, which was simple to configure), Addguard, etc before leaving on my trip, then set it up in the hotel room and never had to connect my laptop / cell phone to the Hotel’s unencrypted wifi. All of my traffic was encrypted and secure. The router worked perfectly over a ~1 week period. I never had to reboot it or do anything besides log into the Hotel’s portal every ~24 hours. I powered it from my laptop during setup, then left it plugged in to the small power adapter it comes with while traveling. The router itself is tiny and took up hardly any space in my backpack.

I initially planned to use it as a travel router only but I ended up using it at home. WiFi speed is really great for devices supporting new WiFi versions, and extra features, like SMB server and VPN, are great additions to this router. Love it!

Lightweight for travel. Lot of features and functionality which is surprising for this small unit and for the price. I use it with Tailscale which is already included. Recommend as a travel router and if you need all your devices connected to a VPN router or Tailscale.
