Great for the daily commute
Most weekday mornings I wedge myself into the 07:42 from Brighton, coffee in one hand and this new 15.6-inch laptop in the other. Since picking it up, the journey has stopped feeling wasted. That IPS panel turns out a pin-sharp 1,920 x 1,080 image, bright enough to cope with the sun sneaking through the carriage windows. The hinge folds right back, so when the bloke next to me cranes his neck for the crossword hints I just flatten the screen and carry on typing.Under the aluminium lid sits Intel’s 12th-gen N97, humming away at up to 3.6 GHz. I have thrown Chrome, Photoshop Express, Spotify and a scatter of tabs at it all at once, yet it still behaves itself. Credit, I suppose, to the 8 GB of DDR5 and the 256 GB SSD backing it up. File transfers feel snappy and the operating system boots quicker than I can settle into my seat.The chassis gives off a pleasant heft without tipping past 1.65 kg, roughly the same as my lunch when I am generous with the sandwiches. Two-watt stereo speakers on either flank out-perform their size, handy when I forget my earbuds. Connectivity has not tripped me up yet, thanks to Wi-Fi on the 5 GHz band, Bluetooth 5, three USB 3.2 ports and an HDMI socket. Mouse, portable drive and an extra display all fit with room to spare.After three hours of mixed browsing, light photo edits and a spot of video watching, the battery still shows a reassuring chunk of charge, so I no longer hover near plug sockets at the office. Taken as a whole, the speed, sturdiness and staying power outstrip the price tag. It is a cracking little workhorse for commuters who want to squeeze a proper day’s graft into the gaps between stations.

For a budget type laptop this really is a find
You’ll be hard pressed to find a branded laptop like HP or Acer that has this size display with a higher budget CPU like the N97. The fact it also has a FHD IPS panel means that I don’t have to get the screen at an angle to avoid glare or make sure it’s fully visible. Watching the likes of Netflix and Youtube on a screen like this are much more appealing than a standard low end laptop.Browsing is nice and fast and is unaffected even if I have large Word and Excel documents in the background and along with having spotify running, the battery lasts a good amount of time so I don’t have to plug it in after 2 hours and the charger itself is nice and compact so I don’t have to carry a brick around with me all the time. While this does have a US Keyboard layout there is also a provided UK Layout cover which once added makes it look and function just like your regular UK Layout.This is a brilliant little all rounder laptop with a nicely sized display. If you’re looking for an everyday laptop for general tasks and not intensive gaming then you can’t go wrong with this one.

Small, thin but powerful
The laptop is better then expected it plays smoothly AAA games that are older then 2-3 years on 1080p on low or medium, I just want to mention that the Ram is DDR5 with 2 slots inside the laptop and only one stick of 16gb so I am considering adding another 16gb in the 2nd slot also the laptop has space for a 2nd SSD NVME, making this laptop a good price for upgrading.The IPS display is good as can be viewed from every angle but I wished it would have been a bit more bright during day. Speakers are good but I installed some portable speakers so I turned this laptop into a PC at home.Battery last about 3-4h while browsing the Internet. And on YouTube can run easy 4k videos and even 8k videos but will make the laptop go all out for that.Keyboard has 3 levels of light and it,s nice during night gaming I leave it on the lowest lvl, the charger has 60w and it’s type C charging so using this laptop charge I can charge my phone as well.

Overall, I’d say not bad. Speakers aren’t brilliant but for the price point, not bad. Build quality appears good given the price. Customer services aren’t the best. Response is a little slow and I’m still awaiting a response from my last communication.Follow Follow up – Customer service department has reached out to rectify the issues that I have. Albeit somewhat late, at least they bothered to reach out, so as a result, I’m changing my rating.

I have been using this for a few days now and I just need to say how good the performance is. My two main purposes do use are video editing while hooked up to an external monitor in clam shell mode and then gaming just in the laptop itself… It handles these tasks with easy. The processing speed is excellent. Absolute zero lag while gaming and for editing it runs smooth as bitter. Makes my timeline super easy to manage. Incredible speedy laptop both internally and via external transfers of data. More than impressed and it looks awesome too. 10/10 from me.

Great laptop
It’s worth the money and I’m very satisfied with this laptop. The installation process was quick and easy. It handles daily tasks such as browsing the web, sending and receiving emails, and online streaming with no problem. In terms of price, the workmanship and quality are good, and overall it exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend it. For someone like me who is only moderately tech-savvy, this product is ideal. The installation and startup are quite easy and fast, and so far the speed and functionality are quite good. I don’t want to do too many complicated things – surfing the internet, word processing, storing and editing pictures, watching some downloaded programs, and enjoying playing games! So from my perspective, at the price I paid when I bought it, I’m not sure I could find a better one. I’m very satisfied with it. I found it to be very easy to install and very convenient to use. It has enough interfaces to meet the needs of a family. This is a great laptop.

Es un portátil bastante fino y ligero y con potencia de sobra para realizar tareas de ofimática, teletrabajo ( lleva hasta integrado el obturador para anular la webcam ) o ver películas.La pantalla tiene bastante calidad y es full hd, y en cuanto al resto de puertos hay usbA, 2 usbC, e incluso para ampliar el almacenamiento mediante microsd sin tener que abrirlo para cambiar el discoCarga mediante usbc, por lo que cualquier cargador de más de 45W te debería servir si se te olvida el suyo.Aunque parezca mentira el N97 es más potente que el nuevo N100 ya que este último como conume menos, es casi un 20% más lento.Con 4 cores, 16GB de ram y 512 de disco puedes realizar casi cualquier tarea a excepción de edición de vídeo o imágenes pesadas y obviamente jugar.Lo que no me ha gustado es que lleva como una membrana de goma para poner el idioma del teclado a español, italiano.. ya que considero que unas pegatinas son mucho más cómodas y hace que el teclado no tenga ese tacto a goma.Lo bueno es que lleva una licencia de windows 10 Profesional, por lo que lo podrás usar en entornos corporativos.
