Warm Tips

1. The PoE converter and power adapter is not waterproof, please install it indoors.

2. The length of the network cable in the accessories is about 1m. In order to install this device in a suitable location, you may need to purchase an additional network cable to connect the PoE converter to the main body of the device.

3. Please make sure your Ethernet cable to the outdoor router is CAT5E or above certified and shorter than 100m/328ft.

4. Please install the product 2-3 meters above the ground (or in a high open place) for better performance.

5. When setting wisp/ bridge mode, make sure upstream wifi signal strength greater than 70% to get the most reliable connection.

6. The device could not repeat the signal with captive portal(Web Certification).

7. WAVLINK EverythingMesh devices can only be paired with EverythingMesh devices, and cannot be paired with other Mesh devices of other brands. Mesh agent cannot form a Mesh network separately. A Mesh network needs to be composed of a Mesh Router and one/multiple Mesh Agents.

    Exceeds expectations.
I have been meaning to add Internet to my garden for some time but was unsure how well it would work. My house has solid 500mm thick walls and signals don’t penetrate well. Having identified a spot by a window where there was a 35% signal (use an app on your phone) I ordered this more in hope than expectation. The build quality is very good, fitting it required drilling through the window frame for the cable but that was no problem (ethernet connectors need quite a big hole). Set up was fine once I’d read the instructions properly. The results are excellent. I get a strong signal in line of sight 40m away, which is as far as my garden goes. Surprisingly around the other side of the house I still get an acceptable signal in part of the garden some 30m away. In fact inside parts of the house devices will connect to this rather than the router! This has enabled me to install WiFi security cameras as well as getting connectivity in my greenhouse and shed.Delighted!

It is good but, every one month it stops to work and I have to switch off/on.
Working very well but, every one month it stops to work and I have to switch off/on. After that it starts to work. If you are not at home, it will be big problem to control remote.

    Does the job.
I got this for a specific reason which is to operate a Traeger pellet grill and a Meater temperature probe block via Wi-Fi given the patio the grill is sat on is some 15 metres plus away from the router and out of range. The pellet grill only operates on 2.4 GhZ hence a single band extender is sufficient. I also bought a J bar mounting pole and a longer ethernet cable given the one that come with the unit is only a metre long. The item was well packaged and appears robust, there is no reason to dispute the weatherproof claims and indeed it has withstood several heavy downfalls of rain. Installation was problematic in the first instance as it is very easy to miss the stage where you select the appropriate mode setting, I wanted to simply use it as a repeater as an extension to my house Wi-Fi. Once this was figured out (there are videos online) set up became pretty simple. The pellet grill and temperature probe blocks were then connected to the relevant Wi-Fi network and after a couple of minutes the Traeger grill Wi-Fi strength went from none / poor to excellent, after several uses there has been no WIFI drop out on either the Traeger or Meater apps. Overall happy with my purchase.

    Great improvement
I am so pleased with this. Using it in AP mode plugged into my MiFI router with a LAN and mounted on the roof of my narrow boat. Great signal strength inside and out now.

Does the job, better/cheaper options IMO.
Uses a lot of power, worth noting if you use this on an off grid system like myself, plus it’s a weird voltage so it’s hard to wire it directly to DC, I managed it but even still there’s much more efficient options that use a fraction of the power these do.If you’re using this for a grid situation then yes it’s pretty good, range is reasonable but nothing great (around 80m line of sight), quality of the unit itself maybe a 6/10.Personally I’d recommend the little 5v TP link repeater/router units, much cheaper, plugs straight into USB, similar speeds and still manages around 60 metres line of sight.

    Great strong signal
Very happy with this, not sure why it got some mixed reviews, feels good quality, easy to set up and gives strong signal throughout our large garden, still get full signal strength at 30m away, haven’t tried any further yet but i am sure it still works well. I’d certainly recommend it for the price.
