Works reliably and great quality
I finally pulled the trigger on the Philips Hue floodlight (we got the big one for the back patio), and it’s genuinely one of the best purchases I’ve made. Our old outdoor light was a constant headache—we basically gave up on it because the connection was so unreliable and it never seemed to turn on when we needed it to. This Hue light is the opposite; it’s powerful and totally reliable. It lights up the entire yard beautifully and, most importantly, it actually connects and responds immediately via the app.The best part is definitely the control and flexibility. I use the app constantly to adjust the light. When the dog needs to go out, I just tap my phone and give it a nice, soft amber glow.Yes, it costs more than the simple hardware store floodlights, but knowing it will reliably connect and operate makes it worth the money. The quality feels great—very sturdy and weatherproof. Installation was fine, and once it was set up, the fact that it integrates perfectly with everything else and just works every single time is fantastic. If you’re tired of fiddling with unreliable, glitchy outdoor lighting, you can’t go wrong with this.

Top product en exact wat ik zoek. Mooi van uitzicht (gaat hier nog altijd over een verstraler, bewegingsmelder en camera).Ik had namelijk enkel een voedingskabel 230V voorzien indertijd voor een bewegingsmelder. Nadien vond ik het wat jammer dat ik geen verstraler kon plaatsen, aangezien er parkeergelegenheid is vooraan mijn huis. Ook jammer dat ik geen camera bij kon plaatsen, aangezien de voorkant vrij toegankelijk is.Bij deze is dit dus een top product, 3 in 1 (verstraler, bewegingsmelder en camera). Mits wat aanpassing werk (aangezien ik maar 10cm tussen plafond en mijn oversteek heb) kon ik dit perfect plaatsen, deze camera heeft dan ook een brede montage plaat waardoor je zelf op een andere positie dan de voorziene positie een opening kan maken voor de aansluiting.In dienst stellen van het product is een fluitje van een cent, ook het aansturen van andere lampen met deze camera verloopt vlekkeloos. App is ook zeer overzichtelijk en gebruiksvriendelijk.In de beschrijving werd ook prima vermeld dat je de Hue bridge nodig hebt, dus ook hier geen verrassingen.Echter heb ik wel drie minpuntjes waardoor ik maar 3 sterren geef.1) Bevestiging camera is magnetisch, een omstaander kan dus gewoon uw camera afnemen. Akkoord er is wel een ijzeren bevestiging koordje maar toch. In 3tellen is dit losgedraaid en is men weg met uw camera. Bij beveiliging is dit toch niet aangewezen2) Abo kosten. Ongeveer €40 per jaar om een detectie zone aan te passen en de beelden bij te houden.3)Detectie zone werkt navenant ook niet perfect. Mijn detectie gevoeligheid staat op minimum en ook de instelling dieren staat zo dat deze niet mogen gedetecteerd worden, echter detecteer de camera soms nog voorbij komende katten. Voor dit geld zou dit dan toch niet mogen. Camera koste ongeveer €270 wat toch niet goedkoop is, alhoewel je wel 3 in 1 hebt. Dus over de prijs ga ik niet veel zeggen. Waar ik mij dan wel aan “stoor” is dat er €40 betaalt moet worden voor een activiteiten zone die toch niet 100% goed werkt. Can’t install the camera. Says it’s already connected to an other network? Can’t fill in a security phrase nor read the qr-code. Not worth te money.
