Easy setup and great coverage
After watching a few YouTube videos on how to best set these up i connected the first router to my Talktalk box via the supplied cable and it took me into the setup app to configure. This was easy to do. I tested the two other routers via WiFi and they connected perfectly also. I then experimented by moving them to the best locations for full coverage of my property.I am getting the maximum download speed (70 Mbps) of my Talktalk box in all areas of my house including WiFi CCTV cameras on the outside. In addition I’m getting a strong signal at the bottom of my garden where I originally could not get a connection.Overall they were easy to set up and the speed provided matched the maximum speed available to me from Talktalk. There are other features and functionality available but I have not needed to investigate further as it is providing exactly what I wanted.

Good coverage, very poor speeds – disappointing performance
The coverage on this Huawei WiFi mesh system is actually very good. It blankets my whole house, which is fairly large, and signal strength is strong in all rooms.Unfortunately, the speeds are extremely disappointing. I’m on a 500 Mbps internet connection and get the full 500 Mbps directly from my ISP router. However, when connected through the Huawei mesh, speeds drop to around 50–60 Mbps, which is nowhere near acceptable for a system like this.I’ve reset the system multiple times, carefully checked the setup, placement, and settings, and followed all recommendations, but the results are always the same. Coverage improves, but performance takes a huge hit.Amazon are sending me a replacement unit to try, but based on this experience, I don’t have much confidence that it will resolve the issue. If the replacement performs the same way, I’ll be returning the system and switching to a TP-Link mesh instead.Good coverage, but if you care about maintaining your actual internet speed, this may not be the right choice

Does exactly what it’s meant to, and it does it well.
Works perfectly, first time setup with no issues. Speed and coverage is perfect. We’re on a (Max) 1000mbps connection, with a min of 750mbps download. Average we get is usually around 850mpbs+ via ethernet.Tests on download/upload speeds on my mobile connected to the Huawei mesh routers.Ookla (Most local server, approx 45 mils from location):Download = 830mbpsUpload = N/A (not tested)Google (Dublin server, approx 200+ miles from location):Download = 426.6mbpsUpload = 108.8mbpsAll these speeds are on par with what I was getting via my P.C connected directly to the router via ethernet. So couldn’t ask for more. Would happily recommend.

Internet Speed Loss
I bought these to connect them to a Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2.The setup is very easy and straight forward through Huawei AI Life App.Strong WiFi signal but significant loss of upload and download speed. It made the internet connection unstable.Internet speed was better with the Huawei router on its own.Disappointed with the performance.Returning these back.

Great coverage
Very pleased with this system. No dead spots around my home and getting decent speeds all around the house. Definitely good value for money. Easy to set up once you have app installed.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU’RE REPLACING EXISTING WIFI WITH A SIMPLE PASSWORD
Unpacked these. Figured out from the one picture in the Quick Start guide that I don’t need to download their AI app but connect the first device to my existing router and laptop (with ethernet). Log in, get to the Enter Wifi Password page and it requires the password to have upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. Mine doesn’t and I’m not changing the password on 2 dozen devices. There is no option to bypass this so they went straight back in the box and are on their way back to Amazon less than an hour after they arrived.

Once setup its fantastic!
Ive had spotty internet for years and trying to connect anything in the garden is neigh on impossible so I was over the moon to be offered this HUAWEI WiFi Mesh 3+ Router setup to test and review.Im not very technically minded so was a little apprehensive in setting these up but the initial stages were very easy. I simply plugged one of the nodes into the router and put in the ip address provided in the instructions. After putting in the passwords it was connected and internet was running. Straight away with this one node I noticed coverage in the garden and this was sat where my router is.The second stage (which should have been the easiest) became the most difficult. The instructions stated that simply plugging these, they would automatically connect to the first node. This did not happen. The instructions are also poor.. the manual is tiny and everything is explained on one small page. I had to revert to the internet to figure out what was wrong. One option was the download the app but their app is currently unavailable in the uk on android.I did finally figure out that by going into the nodes setting through the IP address, you can change some thing in there. Im not entirely even sure what fixed it but the last thing I did was change the bridge mode option. Whatever the reason they finally talked to each other and linked upCoverage is now amazing with full bars in the garden. Speeds seem great so far and everything is now connected to my mesh.So after a few installation issues, its now fantastic! Looks great, works well and is a great price for what you get too!
