This sounds like one of those bits of kit that you don’t think you need until you actually use it, then it becomes part of your setup pretty quickly.It basically turns a normal laptop into a proper three-screen workspace, with one screen on each side of the laptop, and that’s where it really starts to make a difference. Instead of constantly switching between tabs and windows, everything can stay open at once. It’s especially handy for work like emails, spreadsheets, research, or anything where you’re juggling multiple things at the same time.Build quality is solid. Once it’s clipped onto the laptop it feels secure and doesn’t feel like it’s going to shift around while you’re working. The whole setup feels more stable than expected for something portable, and the frames don’t feel cheap or flimsy.The screens themselves are clear and sharp at 1080p. Text is easy to read and they’re perfectly fine for everyday work tasks. Colours are consistent across both displays, and brightness is decent indoors. Like most portable screens, they do struggle a bit in very bright light, but for office or home use they’re fine.Setup is simple enough. USB-C plug and play worked straight away without any drivers, which makes things a lot easier. HDMI is there as an option depending on your laptop. Once connected, both side screens extend naturally from the main display, so it genuinely feels like one expanded workspace rather than something separate bolted on.There is a bit of adjusting the first time to get both screens sitting right either side of the laptop, and it does add some cable routing to sort out depending on your ports, but after that it becomes part of your normal setup.Overall, it’s a useful upgrade if you want a portable multi-screen setup without needing a full external monitor. Not essential, but once you get used to having three screens, going back to just the laptop feels limiting.
