Everyone and everything connected like a dream
It’s jolly good. Great performance, super connectivity around the house. Bought to replace a Deco X50 setup which constantly needed to be managed. Coverage and stability around the house is excellent and super stable which was a constant complaint from the everyone with the previous setup. I feel like this was great value considering other options out there and now good it has been, really easy to set up and performs perfectly.

Better than I expected
I was surprised at how well this works, literally able to get full connection speed on the diagonal opposite side of the house from the main router just as if I was directly plugged in to the router. It took a little while to sort itself out initially but so far it has been rock solid. My son has the version 6 so I knew it would be decent, but never expected it to work this well.

More than enough for UK households via wired backhaul
Fantastic system bought to replace an EE supplied router and smart WiFi mesh devices that caused no end of problems when connected via wired backhaul.Very easy to set up and nice app that gives you the information you want. On EE’s gigabit service I am getting ping times of 5-6ms and download speeds over wifi of 750mb and upload of 110mb (limited by the 900/110 openreach line) anywhere in my house (1400sq ft) using three eero 7s when using an iPhone 14 Pro (this doesn’t have WiFi 7 so I expect I would get the full 900mb if i had a capable device).Particularly in the UK where it is very unusual to have a line speed greater than 900mb, I can’t see how these won’t fit the bill for 99% of households, especially if you have Ethernet wired around the house. The eero 7 is dual-band only and doesn’t utilise the 6Ghz frequency. From what I understand this is prodominantly used by the mesh devices to transmit data between themselves which is irrelevant if you intend to use wired backhaul. If you intend to do this then I don’t believe there’s any need to spend the extra on the triband 7 pro or max.The gateway eero is stuck in the understairs cupboard as the openreach ONT is located there, which is not ideal from a WiFi perspective. However the system is smart enough that none of my devices attempt to connect to that eero which was an issue I have had with other mesh systems.I nearly went for a set of eero 6+ (approx 25% cheaper for an equivalent setup) but decided to futureproof as WiFi 7 devices become more commonplace over the next few years. The CPU in the eero 7 is also more powerful and energy efficient than in the eero 6+ but I’m sure they would do an equally impressive job.

Eero7
I’ve had it little while now, it is going great. Very easy to set up, once you the eero app. It takes about 3 minutes to set up. It does well for the TV laptop and phone good signal no contract.

AVOID
Bought these to go along with my Eero 7 max router complete disappointment not worth the price at all, devices within a couple of metres of these nodes will connect to a different node or my router which is further away and run with a weaker signal which is completely infuriating and defeats the purpose of buying this product this is including an Amazon latest gen firestick which is within less than a metre of the node in my living room but chooses to connect to a different node further away not overly impressed with the speeds given i receive 2.5gig connection to my router. Frequent disconnections or lag as the system seems to freeze or crash have to constantly turn connected devices off and on again to get them to connect to the closest node. In a 3 bed room semi detached house so this set up should be more than adequate for the size its covering.

Great functionalities!
It works well and all the functions that it provides are great! I have several small devices connected to it and all of them work well. My only thing to mention is that it is bigger than expected and it gets more “hot” than I thought. Also, it does not have support to hang it on the wall.

Good Product
Very Good Product.I bought this beginning of February 2026 so have been using over a month, with no issues. I purchased with additional CAT6 Patch Cords to hardwire some devices. My service provider is currently Virgin on 1GB plan. This device has helped with signal strength issues I was having with home office furthers away from modem in 3-Bedroom terraced house. I had been debating this purchase for about a year, between Wi-Fi 6 or 7, Dual-Band & Tri-Band, Eero & other manufacturers. I purchased at not lowest price but if it does drop below £300 and you are wanting to upgrade jump at it. The app is handy with monitoring network, I haven’t bothered with Eero+, I have separate internet security. Wife also was impressed when uploading social media video was speedy where it use to take a while.Hope this review helps anyone debating.

It does improve wifi speed well, has a good small size, looks cute and was delivered quickly. I found a better price after 1 day and asked to return and refund which was processed expeditiously with very clear instructions. However, I was disappointed to be charged a hefty restocking fee though it was returned in excellent condition.
