Mr. T. W. F. Yong –
A great product that boosts WiFi and delivers consistent speeds
I was originally using the Plusnet/provided modem for my full fibre service. I rang their CS team as I was experiencing very inconsistent speeds especially with multiple devices online at the same time. At best, I achieved 100mbs/sec download via WiFi and at worst I was getting less than 10mbs/sec or just dropping out entirely. This was causing frustration as I work from home and we have 3 gamers!I bought this router as it was on a special offer and I already own a TP Link extender. I’m delighted with the purchase as I’m now seeing fantastic WiFi speeds. When no one else is around, I get 800mbs/sec minimum and at times more than 1000!From a set up perspective, the only issue I encountered is that I wasn’t aware that I needed to set up PPoE for Plusnet to flow through the device. You don’t need a separate modem with full fibre but I did need my Plusnet user details. The set up app is good with a wizard but I also found that I could manually enter information into the app and it was intuitive.Upgrading to this router is going to make everyone in the household happier in the long run and it’s also connected to my wired network where I’m seeing speeds of 800mb/sec minimum!Well worth the money.

TP-Link Archer BE220 Dual-Band WiFi 7 Router
So I had to get someone to connect the TP-Link Archer BE220 Dual-Band WiFi 7 Router for me because I am unsure of how all the settings work. After switching to Plus Net and paying for 900 speeds, and rarely ever even reaching above 500 and some days not even reaching 100, being stuck in a 2 year contract ment I needed to do something, after some re search I found the plus net routers aren’t actually capable of giving out the high speeds you oay for and found out I needed a wifi 7 router, so I purchased this one and had someone come and set it up for me, and wow considering plus net say you need to wait 10 days for speeds to settle was a lie, my speed instantly went from 400 to over 900 with this router. I have since bought an extender to get the signal to the back of the house better too, knowing this router will be ok no matter what company I go with too is brilliant. Super impressed with the router.Any speed test I did was through the plus net web site.

Great Value Router
Bought to replace the router Plusnet supplied. It has much more comprehensive setup options & much better Wifi and allows you to separate the 2.4 & 5 GHZ bands you could never tell which band your device was connecting to with the supplied router.
