LOVE THESE BUDS – SOUND QUALITY AMAZING
Comes in a robust box that can stand a real fall. Charges fast and one charge lasts for ages.Sound quality is excellent.One slight criticism – and you shouldn’t let you put this off, as it only happens very, very occasionally – is that if you wear them in bed and turn over you can accidentally depress one of the controls on your pillar and activate a feature. However, I must point out that this has only happened twice after constant use in bed since I got it, and when it happens I just press the bud once and it immediately goes back to normal. In every other way it’s a fantastic product which punches so much above it’s weight. Hence, despite this almost insignificant problem I’m still giving it a five.

Very good piece of kit but a bit quieter than expected
The buds are well made and very nicely presented. Well priced in range of similar devices, the pack includes small and easy to follow user manual and also came with differently sized silicon earplug replacements and a short charging cable. Surprisingly they were 100% charged out of the box, which is a very nice touch. They are very easily recognised and connected without need to delete any other BT setup on the phone. Really promising connectivity. The charging pod is well built and buds go easy in and out charging slots. When pod is open the buds are activated automatically and are ready for use. The sound quality is fairly good or more appropriately to say, acceptable, but they are a bit on a quiet side. They lack a punch of better/more expensive ones and trying to follow my phone default suggestion to keep volume at 50-60% to protect my hearing, renders these buds almost to whispering. On the other hand this could be fairly good point if you want to close your eyes, relax and listen to a quiet and soothing music. Overall, great piece of sound kit with lots of good points to offer, but as they are sound device, being quieter than expected, it is a big let down. Thus only 4.5 stars.

This review is for the ‘PWTEK Wireless Earbuds, 50H Bluetooth 5.3 Headphones Sport, HiFi Stereo Wireless Earphones with Mic CVC 8.0 Noise Reduction, IP7 Waterproof LED Display Ear Buds for Sport/Running/Gym, Black’. At time of review these earbuds were selling for £17.99.The buds arrive in a quite plain white printed box. Inside you get the buds in a good compact charging case. Accessories provided are a short USBC cable and alternate size ear buds in small and large.When reviewing earphones/buds etc I run through a bunch of test songs, and also like to judge for comfort. My end score is based on a combination of sound quality, comfort, price and features. At this price bracket, I don’t expect much in the way of extra features but do want comfort and good sound quality.These buds are very lightweight – a good choice for sports. They are very compact and in truth felt a little small when gripping around my ear – might be better for people with smaller lobes than mine. They were not really uncomfortable though – so its not a major issue.Sound quality was not perfect by any means, but it was good for the price – I have heard a lot worse. Audio, especially mid range pop was very easy to listen to. The same with treble heavy electropop. However bass heavy music was lacking in depth. I got used to it, but it does miss out on the deep thumps. However, if your into the usual top 40 chart music then these work well.Along with the compact earbuds, I also appreciated that the charging case was quite compact for this type of over ear bud, which was very good to see. The buds dock magnetically and firmly. They wont fall out by accident.Finally, noise isolation was good. I found they blocked out exterior noises well, and also found the noise emanating from them when off my ear was very discreate.I think these are worth the asking price, especially if you have smaller ears and need a semi disposable pair for the gym or other activities.

wireless earbuds with ear hook
I’m really pleased with these wireless earbuds. I often find that in-ear headphones don’t stay in my ears, even the ones made for small ears or children, as I have rather small ear canals and an oily skin so they tend to work their way out and fall out of my ears. These earbuds are excellent as they have an over ear hook which keeps them in place really well and means I don’t risk loosing them. They are well made as is the charging case and seem durable. They charge quickly and the case has an LED display which shows how much charge is left in it, the charge also lasts a long time. The sound quality is pretty good, I mainly use headphones for listening to audio books, podcasts, youtube and some music, so these work very well for me. I have found that the volume control, which is supposed to be one touch on the touch pads of the earbuds doesn’t seem to work as it pauses or plays instead, this could just be me, but felt it was worth mentioning. I just use the volume control on the device I’m using instead.

I remember ten years ago when £20 would buy you a basic wired set of earbuds – now it’s a wireless Bluetooth with their own charging case.Basic, yes. Mid-range feel a little light and not sure about the noise-cancelling part as they are not a snug fit due to the arm and probably the shape of my ears, but then they will offer some simply due to them covering your ear.Touch is a bit iffy on Apple. single touch is pause and double if done right will skip – hold gets you a beep and not much else.Very light so pretty forgettable when in and they will stay in place with the ear hook though. I’ve found it easier to take my glasses off first, fit them then put my glasses back on.Nice touch that the case displays its power level along with the earbudsSo there are a few negatives there so why the five stars? It’s £20, not £200. Keeping that perspective shows the value these are, oh and they won’t be losing these thats for sure.
