Amazing earphones
I’ve used a lot of earphones over the years and these offer excellent sound and build quality. They’re comfortable to have in your ears for a long time and I found i did not have to keep them from falling out like I have with other brands. The included 2.4ghz USB C connector allows for easy connection to a computer or other device that does not have built in Bluetooth and from my experience has offered a lower latency (this may just be due to the Bluetooth adapter I was using to test them). The software can be a bit awkward to work around but once you’ve figured it out it offers a lot of customisation for sound settings for all of your apps running at the same time which I find very helpful.I got these on offer but even if they weren’t i think they are worth the money.

Actually decent!
I think people are being a bit unfair here and it almost put me off. I’ve been debating these for a while as I prefer buds to headsets but there aren’t many ‘gaming’ options. I used a mix of the arctis nova pro headset and beats studio + buds. However, my friends were always complaining about the mic on the buds and the headset gives me headache when worn for extended periods of time (which is fairly common for gamers). These seem to bridge the gap nicely. The sound is good! I’m no audiophile so I’m not really clued up on sound quality. But to the average ear, they sound great on both 2.4 and Bluetooth. I was a little disappointed that they don’t do Bluetooth and 2.4 together like the headset but I guess that’s due to the size difference between the two limiting the amount of tech that can be crammed in.Comfort is mixed… So yes, the buds are comfortable. They are fairly weighty for buds but you can’t tell due to the design and how they sit in the ear. However, the tips are atrocious lol. They are flimsy and don’t block sound well at all. Maybe I was spoiled with my beats buds. But the material was much thicker and they feel lodged in your ear. These sit in the ear and don’t fall out but it isn’t the tightest fit. So even when I turn on noise cancelling, I can still hear noise (I can’t on the beats). I don’t know if it’s possible but if anyone can recommend replacements, I’d appreciate it lots – currently looking myself but not sure what would fit as my beats ones don’t.Battery is great. I’ve barely charged them and I’ve used them heavily for a couple of weeks now. Hopefully they won’t degrade too much over time. The case is nice although a battery indicator would’ve been nice.Software – There is an app and a desktop app that basically do the same thing. Exactly what you’d expect (EQ, profiles etc). It’s ok.I’ve waffled on for long enough so a quick pros and cons..Cons – TIPS. Really not a fan and they drag the overall experience down. Range – I can walk around my flat with the beats buds and the headset but these struggle as soon as I leave the room. Lack of battery indicator – sounds small but I’ve no idea where they’re up to.Pros – great sound. Apparently the mic is good. They look nice (went for white for a change). Fairly comfortable – no fatigue after long sessions like the headset. Battery life is excellent – beats the.. beats lol. Whilst I’m disappointed they don’t do 2.4 and Bluetooth simultaneously, I do appreciate that they have both (3 taps to switch between).I’ll update if I find a tip alternative as that will fix my biggest issue (obviously won’t affect score as it’s not in the box)

Great sound for a great price.
I have read plenty of bad reviews but im happy to say my experience has been excellent. Sound quality and battery life are amazing. Many have complained about the sound quality of the microphone but I’ve had no complaints.

Can’t recommend
Had two pairs of these now, same issue every time. Constant high pitched whine in left ear develops when ANC is on. Shame since the 2.4 GHz dongle is great but the QC on these is awful.

These earbuds — for a lack of a better word — suck.
I’m honestly really disappointed with the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds. For something that’s meant to be “plug and play,” the setup alone was a nightmare. The dongle refused to connect, and it took me around 30 minutes of Googling just to get it working. Then you’re thrown into the Sonar software, which is not beginner or casual-friendly at all. It’s overly complicated and feels like you need a guide just to understand what’s going on.On top of that, the amount of messing around with the equaliser just to get “decent” sound is ridiculous (everything STILL sounds extremely flat). Every time I open a new app or game, I have to go back and tweak settings again. It’s exhausting.Worse, the audio straight out of the box was awful. As soon as I connected via Bluetooth, it was peaking and crackling so badly it almost hurt my ears. I ended up switching back to a £10 off-brand headset within minutes. As I said before, connecting to the dongle was a little better but it took so long to get them to connect via 2.4 mode. They look nice and feel comfortable, sure. That’s the only reason I gave two stars. But what’s the point if they sound this bad?

the sound in it is decent but when I use the ANC and noise control I got distortion and cracking sounds I tried every thing to fix it but there is no fix for it, so I googled it and I found out thats everyone have the same problem and the fix for it is turning off ANC, it is one of the features for this earbuds that is not working correctly. (writing this after 9 months, they didn’t fix the problem aslo it does not have good lifespan battery)
