Fantastic drone with amazing quality
I have had a Ruko drone before so knew that the quality was good, so when I saw the new Ruko U11MINI 4K I thought it would be good, but didn’t realise how good it would be, especially for the low price. With 6K photos and 4K video, it is the quality of much more expensive drones. The battery life is excellent, it states 32 minutes per battery, and it will be about right, as when I took mine out for the first time, I had it recording permanently and had it in sport mode for a while, and still got 24 minutes. So with 3 batteries that would give you more that an hours flight time. The drone itself is small and compact, but the quality is very good. With plenty of spare blades, screws and a screwdriver. Also the 3 batteries, 3 charging cables, cables for Android and IPhone, to connect to the controller. The controller is more basic, which doesn’t over complicate anything. The joysticks have been improved, and are more comfortable. The control over the drone is a lot more smoother than previous drones. And the 3 axis gimble makes the filming extremely smooth, as you will see in my video. There are plenty of features on the app, like follow me, hand gestures, way points, also a tracker if you happen to lose the drone. Whether you are a beginner or advanced user, this drone is easy to control and use. Ruko have packed soo much into the app that you’d expect to pay twice the amount. The quality of video and photos is excellent, and you won’t be disappointed if you are purchasing this drone. Definitely a 10 out of 10 from me.

The U11MINI is one of the latest models from Ruko, and is notably lighter than previous models. At under 250g in weight, you only need to register for a Flyer ID from the CAA, which lasts for five years.The package is very well presented, with high quality finish, and well laid out and clearly written printed materials. The variant I purchased comes with 3 batteries, which is equivalent to about 90 minutes flight time. Clearly the light weight is a boon for longer flying times. The remote control is fairly easy to connect to a smartphone, albeit slightly fiddly. One big gain from previous models is that there is no need for a wifi connection – the device connects to the remote automatically, so it’s a lot less fiddly, and your phone will still receive messages as normal.The quick start leaflet and control overlay allows you to get started reasonably quickly, although they recommend fully charging the remote and drone battery beforehand.Having given it a few flights, I took various photos and movies, and the overall quality of the images is really good. Despite some shots being made in the evening, the colours are pretty vibrant, and no vibration is evident in the captures. Despite a slight to moderate breeze, the drone stability was excellent. The responsiveness of the controls makes the drone very easy to fly. The beginner mode was absolutely fine for me, but it can be turned off for greater distances.It is good that Ruko offer the option of 2 batteries for a lower price, but it is worth paying extra for more flying time with 3 batteries. Either way, you get various spares included, and all the necessary cables for charging them with any phone charger.Overall, I am really pleased with this product, and would highly recommend it.

Compact model, but nippy and high functioning
For the price this is a great rival to the next level Ruko drones. It is light but very nippy. The new software designs out the need for calibration steps, so the Drone is ready to fly once switched on and connected to GPS. No wifi needed, a cable connects the drone to the phone, wired connections are always great. (the cable is plugged into both ports for packaging which makes it hard to find when opening, look just under the phone mount). Excellent gimble camera, good range of about 20mins in quite strong winds. 3km distance range is amazing – but still scares me! Auto return when signal or power lost is very handy.

No flyer or operator ID required to fly
Excellent drone in the under 250g class, needing no flyer or operator ID. Great for beginners very easy to set up and control. The controller connects by cable to your mobile phone, making a very reliable and secure connection. The Ruko app is very easy to use. The camera is really steady even in strong winds creating great video and photos. Once you get to grips with the basics you can turn off beginner mode to fly higher and further. Small and light weight, you can put the drone in your pocket. I highly recommend this great little drone.

We purchased two Ruko U11MINI 4K drones with Camera, including three batteries each. We had one up and flying quickly and it was easy to set up and we were able to get some great photos. The quality of the drone and the photos were excellent. These drones are a really great value for the price. The remote control was user friendly and the drone was easy to maneuver. The second drone we purchased had two batteries that didn’t hold a charge and upon reaching out to customer service, they were extremely helpful. We sent a video showing the two batteries that were defective and they immediately responded and are sending a replacement. We would highly recommend this drone!

I purchased my Ruko U11MINI 4K in December 2025. It was the first drone I ever had that wasn’t a toy. The drone itself came exactly as advertised with a very sturdy and well-made, carrying case. The first time I flew it I was a little nervous at first, but Ruko turned out to be easy and fun to fly. For those wanting an entry level camera drone, I highly recommend this product.After I had flown the drone four or five times, and after a controlled landing of the drone in my backyard, one of the four propellers stopped functioning. I contacted the Ruko customer support and spoke to two different technicians. Both calls were satisfactory and the second technician clearly referred to notes from my conversation with the first. Through customer service I arranged to get a replacement drone. This kind of customer service is very rare and exceptional.Ruko is a quality company selling excellent products and providing outstanding customer service. They have my highest recommendation.
