Superstar mounts inside a base cabinet and allows storage of appliances on a spring action shelf that easily lifts and locks into place level with the counter top. Heavy mixers can be handled easily by the chef and since Superstar acts as its own counter top, the appliance does not diminish valuable counter space. Two lockings catches secure the mechanism in the open position. When finished, simply lift up on the shelf to release the catches and gently push the system back into the cabinet.

Brilliant way to lift a heavy mixer from kitchen cupboard especially as I’m getting older but still love to bake and it was getting difficult to lift the mixer onto the work top.My husband found if easy to install.

These have a great use when needed. Sometimes the mechanism fixed to the carcas needs packing out about 10mm so that the lift system can clear the door hinge.

Yes the spring was difficult, but worth the effort
Though I bought this almost 2 years ago, we have just fitted it into a custom made cupboard. So far I am very happy with the appliance shelf.The spring did, as many have said, prove difficult. Armed with information from the reviews we used a strong tie wrap and screwdriver (a hammer handle works too) to stretch the spring to hook it onto the pins. It made the job much easier. The spring then slotted over the centre pin quite easily.

Really good quality and well made. The professional kitchen fitters found the spring was the hardest thing but sorted it out using a screwdriver and stretching the spring to fit. The tool that was supplied bent on first use – I am really pleased with them and look forwards to to using the appliances on them thank you

Love my pull out shelf!
My pride and joy my Thermomix has it’s proper home. Pull out with ease and is ready to use. No need to culture my counter top. Locks in place. Simple lift to unlock and put away.

Not that easy to install (especially linking up springs) but it functions very well. The previous version locking mechanism broke on one side but had been very durable.

Very strongly made. You need to be quite competent as a DIYer to mount this accurately and get the shelf perfect. Draw it before you do it. A simple push on/off catch in its down position would be a cheap but very valuable addition. One of those things where simple is actually elegant.

We have a narrow cabinet in our new house and my wife has a KitchenAid stand mixer that takes up a lot of space, so I was looking for something like this.THIS IS THE BEST!Considerably less expensive than others, fits in a cabinet under a drawer, and in very narrow cabinets.However, the instructions which come with it are misleading. It says minimum width for the cabinet is 13″. not so. My cabinet was only 11.75″ wide. The limiting factor is the width of the shelf you need. The KitchenAid is just under 8 1/2″ wide at the base, and the shelf could be no more than 8 1/2″, so bingo, it worked perfectly.However, installation is difficult; you need to have some handyman skills. In particular getting the springs on is difficult. I am fairly strong, but the little tool thing provided is too small and not very sturdy. Had to use a pair of channel-lock pliers to get a good grip on it.In general though, this thing is great. Very sturdy. Wife is ecstatic, so I got big hubby points. 🙂

Article fort cher. Mais la qualité est là. Utilisé à l’atelier pour y installer la Tormek sous l’évier. Par contre, comme dit dans d’autres commentaires, impossible de l’installer avec les outils fournis. Utilisez une sangle, c’est bien plus simple!

These brackets are great, we couldn’t install it all the way to bench height as the door hinge was in the way.It is much steadier than i thought it would be.Installation instructions were pretty good, however the two springs that need to be installed are very strong and the tool they provide to help simply bends. It required two people, pliers a hammer and a long screwdriver to get the springs on.
