Large capacity power-packs like this are essential on holiday especially if going off-grid for any period of time. This is a monster version of 20000mAh which is right up there at the limit of what airlines will allow you to take on a plane. However, that amount of power storage often comes at a cost in their bulk: With this unit its footprint is actually not too big – at least for it capacity. However it is heavy! That being said, I have other power-packs of similar capacity and whilst not quiet as heavy they are bigger in their size. Personally, for me weight is not an issue.This unit has 2 x USB-C outputs – which also double-up as the unit recharge points – and 2 x USB-A ports. Output is a claimed 65W across all four ports though the USB-A ports are restricted to 30W.It has a small LED display on the side that tells you either the capacity remaining or state of charge.It also has the ability to trickle charge for 2 hours without shutdown (by pressing the side button twice). This is for items like earbuds. The idea is to prevent battery damage in these relatively delicate devices and also to prevent issues with the charger not recognising the device correctly.Finish-wise it’s really well made and feels ‘premium’. Alas, no carry pouch though.So far so good. However, I feel the price for this is a little steep for what it is. Yes, it has the 65W output which is probably what you’re paying the premium for. However, if you can make do with a lesser output (45w, 27w etc.) then you may find better value options out there.

This power bank works surprisingly well with the Xbox ROG Ally X, even supporting Turbo Mode. On my ROG Ally Z1 Extreme, Turbo Mode didn’t activate—possibly due to my device’s port—but it still charges perfectly in Silent and Performance modes.If you need extra power for gaming sessions, this is a solid option, though you’ll still need to recharge it fairly often. Out of the three power banks I own, this is my favorite for the ROG Ally X thanks to its reliability and performance.
