Really pleased with this clothes airer. It was easy to assemble and feels very sturdy once set up. There’s plenty of space for clothes, towels, and even bedding, which is perfect for larger loads of washing.I like that it folds away neatly when not in use, so it doesn’t take up too much room. The wheels make it easy to move around, and the different tiers help clothes dry faster with better airflow.Great value for money and ideal for indoor drying, especially during rainy days. Highly recommend

GOOD QUALITY. HUGE. EASY TO ASSEMBLE
ok, honest review time. first off; this thing is HUGE!!!.. that’s a 6ft double wardrobe behind it.build quality?? it’s surprisingly good, I must admit I was expecting something of less quality given the price. it’s sturdy, solid and doesn’t bow under weight. ok yes, it’s moulded plastic and cheap tubing, but, that’s what you get at this price point. i did notice a black & decker airer for £110 that, to be honest didn’t look any betterfunctionality?? well, lol, given it’s size it’s going to hold a lot more than the fold away airer that it’s replacing. it’s going to hold 2 full size washes from our 8kg washing machine easily. the bars are well spaced, of good size and strength, not thin useless things made of tinfoil.hanging space?? it’s very good, plenty of space for a dozen shirts on the fold in rails, well spaced holes too so stuff will dry quickly.overall quality?? again, given the price, I’m impressed. the folding arms are well thought out and fold smoothly with loads of room for just about anything. one thing that is really quite impressive is the height and width with the hanging rails folded out. i reckon this will take a king size quilt over the top without it touching the floor.ok, now to the part where people seem to disagree, the building of it. you will NEED a hammer or mallet, and a block of wood . i used a sanding block, oh, and a decent tape measure. why? because, and here’s the bit that can make a mess of it, you need to TAP the bars ALL THE WAY in!! otherwise it ends on the kink and falls apart. so; as you fit each bar, vertically and horizontally, measure the height and length are the same, then maybe, if you’re really fussy, and I am, use a spirit level to make sure all the vertical bars are the same length. reason?? if any of the bars are not pushed in properly it gets all out of shape. this may seem like a right pain in the rear, but the extra checks take seconds and make sure it’s all fitted properly. build time for me was 45 minutes. little tip, as you tap the bars in, LISTEN and you’ll hear the difference as the bars sit in properly. DO NOT WHACK THE BARS DIRECTLY WITH A HAMMER.The box was intact, with all the pieces. one thing that caught me out was the smaller bars. i just tipped em out into one pile. then read the instructions and thought that the shorter bars which are the same diameter as the 18 hanging bars were missing, upon closer inspection there are 6 bars that are the same diameter as the 18 others but about 2 inches shorter. so, fellas, note, I know we don’t normally do this, but, read the instructions, and check you have all the right bars seperatly. the instructions; by the way, are well laid out and dead easy to follow.so, I would recommend buying this airer if…. you have the space! the size is really the only reason not to buy it. quality and price make this a winner.

Great for not using the tumble dryer
I expect most recent reviewers bought this like I did, to save electricity by not using the tumble dryer. On a dry day, I put the clothes on the washing line and then bring them in late afternoon to finish airing on this dryer.Lots of reviewers have said this dryer is sturdy – it’s not. It’s very lightweight and “plasticky”. Yes the hanging poles are made of metal but the metal is very thin.As long as you balance heavy washing on both sides, the dryer won’t fall over.Despite my disappointment about the un-sturdiness, this dryer is good. Unlike diagonal, concertina airers, the gaps between the bars are wide so your clothes get air between them.The airer is also tall, I’m 5′ 5″ and it’s a bit taller than me! So you get air between the three shelves too.You can easily get two loads of washing on here and the coat hanger hooks are a great part of the design too.A few reviewers have mentioned poles popping out. This hasn’t happened to us, but my husband put the airer together and he did say you need to make sure the poles go all the way in to the plastic bits.It might be that the other reviewers meant that the folding shelves pop out? Yes they do, they may come half-way out when you pull washing off them – so when you put new washing on, the shelf can suddenly fall down (remember, I said it’s light and plasticky).If you make sure each shelf is pushed firmly in before hanging washing on them, they’ll be fine.While I’m disappointed with the sturdiness (or lack of), I am happy that I haven’t had to use my tumble dryer for ages!
