Donner amplifier my choice for playing my music
Is a great amp bluetooth sometimes dont connect you have to have a clear path for it to latch on it bleeps when its connected so give it a little bit time i made that mistake power output is amazing with good speakers well worth the price i paid for it lots of outputs and inputs to choose from give it a go im happy with it thank you

Value for money
Dilvery is quick. It arrived the next day after order. When the channel volume is turned to full or nearly full, noise will come out. The power is not as good as claimed. Still it worth for its price.

A great receiver
I really love it. My 27 year old high end (at that time) JVC receiver with milliontrillion inputs (that I did not really need as I don’t use cassette player and VCR etc. any more) and surround modes and room and speaker settings etc. finally died on me and I started looking for a replacement. I discovered that such receivers start at 1000 euros these days! I found no justification for myself to pay that amount of money. I did some research and ended up buying this Donner receiver. As it was only £116 I was prepared to compromise on sound quality but was really surprised. The sound is at least as good as the old high end JVC one with massive base and great trebles and strangely it’s even as loud even though it’s rated 60W vs the JVC 130W. I even like that it’s so simple. The lack of bells and whistles (apart from a strange add-on in the form of 2 karaoke mic inputs) is really a positive for me as it makes it so much easier and more comfortable to use. Plus the modern addition of bluetooth connection of course that is also so easy to use. After the first connection it connects automatically when this input is chosen. So, a great and straightforward receiver (by its own but even more so considering the price) – simple, fantastic sound quality and loud enough for a big room. Five stars

Not enough oommph!
A class AB unit that had all the functionality one needed and nice looking. Power described as 60W RMS x2, an industry figure which should have been more than adequate. I have a Quad 405 which I limit to 50W x 2 as that blows my head off. The Donner – Had to turn the volume up to max and both L and R bal/vol controls on max to get a decent sound to fill the room but at that point the amp started clipping. So no headroom if theres a few people absorbing the sound. My laptop amp/speakers (British made) @6W RMS per channel produce louder more HQ sound.Radio reception with the antenna was borderline. BBC radio 3 which is the place to test reception was OK but had some background hiss. I think a properly installed antenna would be required.I can’t understand why manufacturers inflate their specs like this. It just wastes everybody’s time. Sad really cos it looked good and seemed well built, a nice toroidal transformer inside but power capacitors seemed small.Returned.

Top quality amplifier is amazing!! The sound quality is brilliant got good base and easy to use got a nice display on the front so you can see all the difference mods on it and even it’s got a Bluetooth connection to link your mobile phone to play music out the amplifier and it comes with a controller for amplifier or use on your mobile phone good value for money.

Pros:- Clean sound- Packaged well- Plenty of input plugs- Subwoofer outputCons- Arrived scratched upQuirks- Independent volume knobs will throw you off if you’re not aware.Thoughts:I bought this because I wanted an additional amplifier for my desktop PC. I bought this to replace a PYLE because I wanted this setup to use a subwoofer eventually. The packaging was perfect, with the unit braced by Styrofoam at the sides and plastic wrap surrounding the amplifier. Upon removing the wrapping, I noticed multiple scratches across the front display. Maybe I got a bad draw, but it knocks a half star for presentation. I’m going to have this paired with the Kanto YU-5 bookshelf speakers, a FiiO USB DAC and a spare 10″ sub (have not tested the sub yet). After figuring out that this unit had both volume control for left and right inputs, I was pleased with the sound I was getting while playing tracks on Spotify. Sound-wise this is a great amplifier. I don’t have any complaints about the quality of sound so far. I may buy another one to replace an old Yamaha receiver that is hooked up to my record player.I’m not bothered by the cosmetics because this unit will be on a desk. But for other buyers, it may be something to be aware of.

Der Donner MAMP2 Stereo-Verstärker wurde als Ersatz für meinen alten Verstärker gekauft. Ziel war eine gleichmäßige Tonwiedergabe, ohne viel Geld auszugeben – genau das erfüllt er. Die Bedienung ist übersichtlich, die Anschlussmöglichkeiten sind vielseitig und die Klangqualität ist für den Preis absolut in Ordnung.Wer höchste Hi-Fi-Ansprüche hat, muss mehr investieren, für den normalen Heimgebrauch bietet der Verstärker jedoch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Gerät ist für den Preis absolut zu empfehlen.Alle wichtigen Funktionen sind an Bord und die Bedienung ist eigentlich selbsterklärend. Auch das Bluetooth funktioniert sehr stabil.Nichts zu meckern, daher klare Kaufempfehlung.
