Only has one HDMI and no display port but that was fine with me. Colour and refresh rate are fine but only using it for testing and builds so didn’t need to be any special.Sturdy enough base and easy to assemble.Is a budget monitor but feels better than it should for the cost.

What a difference. I’m pleased with the quality and bright sharp image. I can really appreciate my photos. I can see more details compared to my laptop screen. Well worth the money. I should have upgraded along time ago.I had to purchase this twice because I dropped the first monitor and smashed the LCD screen. They are very fragile and break easily. But still for the price it’s a good product, just don’t drop it.

Consistent and very basic fault ruins this monitor
I bought two of these, once each for my partner and I. The monitors are fine, but the power cable is extremely temperamental in both. The slightest nudge drops the power and it’s a nightmare trying to get the connection back.Everything is set up as advised and works fine – as long as you don’t gently nudge the monitor at any time (eg. cleaning, adjusting position, dog knocking the table – all will drop the connection from the power cable).Very annoying, therefore would not recommend to others given the price and how basic this consistent fault is.Edited to add – even powering it on and off is enough to nudge the cable out of position and stop the monitor from working. No idea why this is reviewed so highly based on others experiences.

I’ve been using the ASUS Eye Care VY249HGR for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been a solid upgrade for as my secondary monitor. The 120 Hz refresh rate (gaming profile) combined with 1 ms MPRT and Adaptive-Sync makes gaming feel much smoother than on standard 60 Hz screens. Motion blur is minimal, and the GameFast Input really helps for quick response times.The IPS panel gives vibrant colors and wide viewing angles, so movies and work look just as good as games. One of my favorite parts is the Eye Care Plus tech — flicker-free, low blue light, and even a rest reminder. I can do long study or work sessions without my eyes feeling strained.The build is slim, VESA-mountable, and has an antibacterial coating on the bezel, which is a nice touch. The stand is simple and stable, but it only tilts — no height adjustment. Also, brightness is fine for most use.Connectivity is basic (HDMI + VGA), but for my needs that’s fine. There are no built-in speakers, mostly everbody uses seperate speaker or headphone, so this wont be an issue.Compared high end monitor or good laptop, the colours are little bit different, mainly yellow and orange (less yellow-ish).
