Great Hardware, Pricey Subscription
These are excellent security cameras, I have used both Ring and Blink in the past, as well as a Google Nest Camera and these are better than any of those. Image quality is better day and night, as well as the app being pretty great and the battery life being excellent due to the (admittedly huge) size of the cameras.One slight frustration is the mount.. theres very little adjustment available on the mount, so if you need to angle these down you may need to get creative with your mounting solution (make a wedge of wood or something to screw through basically) as they really do only want to be mounted pretty much perpendicular to a wall.The big issue as always is the functionality you get with or without the subscription and its here that they disappoint, you really do need the subscription for the excellent AI object detection, which gives you a great zoomed in preview of people, cars and animals that are spotted in the notification to your phone. Its very very good, but doesnt work if you don’t subscribe.I would love to pay double the cost and get a subscription free version of these that can record locally.. It seems that these companies are all subsidising the cost of the Hardware with the subscription though so it doesnt seem likely to happen.Will I continue to subscribe.. maybe, though I am annoyed about the continuous recording prices which are outrageous on top of the existing subscription (which is already pricey enough).In short.. functionally excellent, good hardware, great quality, great app, good notifications, but a really pricey subscription.

Good cameras but limited function without paying for them
I have suddenly lost my hearing so wanted these so I could see who was at the door before I answer itThese are really easy to install with no wiring needed – I knew if I had got wired ones hubby would be nine to happy – . Feel like very solid cameras and are heavy in the hand . Took around 4 hours to charge one and there is only one cable . But according to the instructions ( basic instructions m8ind you ) they should last quite a while and look easy enough to take off if needed and he managed to put them up no problem . One by our front door and one on the back . Fairly easy for me to connect ad set up the app and I am not that technically minded . The picture is clear and its handy to see . But , and its quite a big but . Without a subscription all you can really do is watch a live feed . I looked at subscriptions and think its starts at around £5.50 a month . Not a huge amount for peace of mind but that can soon add up . For now I shall continue to just use them for live feed as that’s all I really need at this pointBut if you need more than factor the monthly cost in as wellAll in all good , solidly built cameras with a crystal clear picture on live feed but consider if that is enough for you without a subscription

Comes well featured but at a cost
We’ve got a new cat at home and we wanted to keep an eye on both our interiors and exterior surroundings, when the Arlo Essential 3 2K XL came up, we wanted to give it a go and put it’s capabilities to the test.It comes in near and tidy packaging with clear instructions inside. We needed to fully charge the cameras, as each one comes with a large battery inside, which can allow for up to a few months running time.There is only one super long USB C charging cable, but each camera comes with their own mounts and screws, and they’re fully wireless, thanks to the app.The quality of the build and video quality is really good, with clear details as well as having a night mode functionality, which allows you to see crystal clear at night. There is also a night light and being able to send your voice through the camera.The app is fully featured as part of achieving this level of functionality, with motion detection, noise as well as recording the events in an easily accessible way. Now, the only issue with Arlo, and this goes across all their devices, is the need for a subscription and subscription based service.We’re currently using the free trial and it works well, however I wonder what the features would be like once the free trial ends and we go onto the free mode, what little functionality would be available.As such, it’s such a shame as the hardware is very well made and seemingly very capable. Given the cost of the cameras is by no means out of your pocket, but I would’ve expected more from the current devices without a need for a subscription.

En principio todo perfecto como se describe las cámaras son de muy buena calidadla única pega que le veo es que la empresa arlo no hay manera de contactar con ellos en español ni por teléfono en el caso de que hubiera algún problema tanto técnico como como de embalaje si viniera en mal estado

Zunehmendes Sicherheitsbedürfnis verbunden mit den Möglichkeiten moderner Technik führt unweigerlich dazu, sein Hab und Gut zu sichern.Dank WLAN, was inzwischen jeder zu Hause hat, lassen sich heute Kameras ideal per App vernetzen und senden gegebenenfalls Bilder und Information an den Nutzer, wenn er nicht zu Hause ist.Vorliegend haben wir eine Kamera, welche sich vor allem den speziellen Anforderungen an den Ort der Befestigung orientiert hat, nämlich eine besonders lange Laufzeit von mehr als zwei Monaten, selbst bei regelmäßiger Bewegungserkennung und das an einem Ort, wo keine Stromversorgung zur Verfügung steht. Diese Camera braucht man also, wenn man eine Kamera irgendwo montieren möchte, wo eben kein Stromanschluss greifbar ist oder die Installation eines Solar Panels nicht möglich ist. Aber ein WLan-Netz muss natürlich erreichbar sein.Nach drei Wochen mit geringfügigen Bewegungsmeldungen ist der Akku noch immer auf 96 %.Das Laden ist schneller, als es hier geschildert wurde, nach meiner Einschätzung relativ zügig. Letztlich hängt dies auch von der Leistung des Netzteils ab und ist natürlich auch der hohen Akkukapazität geschuldet.Im Paket sind zwei dieser Kameras enthalten, welche qualitativ sehr hochwertig wirken. Im Lieferumfang befinden sich nur die Kameras, Halterungen sowie zwei Ladekabel mit USB C Anschluss, damit sind sie kompatibel zu allen gängigen Kabeln sind.Was aus meiner Sicht fehlt, ist ein kleiner Schutz, damit die Linse bei schlechtem Wetter trocken bleibt. Bei Regen läuft das Wasser zwar ab und man hat ein einigermaßen gutes Bild, aber gerade morgens kommt es immer wieder vor, dass Wassertropfen auf der Linse das Bild verschlechtern.Optional wird auch ein Solarpaneel geliefert, was gegebenenfalls die Stromversorgung beziehungsweise Akkuladung unterstützt.Die Kameras werden mit einer eigenen App geliefert, die sehr zuverlässig ist und eine schnelle Einbindung ermöglicht. Mit dem Kauf erhält man zunächst einen Probezugang zu einem Abo, dieser besteht aber nur vier Wochen. Danach wird das Abo kostenpflichtig, wofür nochmals ein Cashback von Amazon angeboten wird. Ohne das Abo fallen die Speicherung in der Cloud und die KI-Funktionen wie z.B die Branderkennung weg. Auch sind Bewegungserkennung, wie Erkennung von Personen, Briefträger und so weiter nur per Abo verfügbar. Das ist insofern von Nachteil, als dass die Kamera nicht über einen Speicherkartenslot verfügt.Ich verstehe zwar, dass die Bereitstellung einer Cloud das Unternehmen Geld kostet, dennoch würde ich die Speicherung von Videos über einen längeren Zeitraum als obligatorisch bezeichnen. Ein kostenpflichtiges Abo ist immer störend. Dafür 1 Punkt Abwertung.Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut und es lässt sich sogar eine farbige Nachtansicht einstellen, sodass auch im Dunkeln scharfe Aufnahmen entstehen. Außerdem lässt das Licht der Kamera unberechtigte Personen zumindest erkennen, dass sie nicht unbeobachtet sind. Über die App lässt sich auch eine Sirene auslösen, wobei dies auch automatisiert erfolgen kann, wenn man den Abwesenheitsassistent verwendet.Zusammenfassend bin ich von der Kamera sehr positiv überrascht, was die Qualität und die Funktionen betrifft.Als Manko sehe ich die fehlende Wetterschutzabdeckung und die fehlende Option Sequenzen abzuspeichern. Ohne Abo nur eine Kamera.Zusammenfassend kann ich 4 Sterne vergeben.Dass die App kostenpflichtige Aboanteile hat, ist aus meiner Sicht von Nachteil, allerdings wird man hierauf ja beim Kauf vorher hingewiesen und muss sich dessen bewusst sein. Aufgrund dessen wäre jedoch die Option einer Speicherkarte wünschenswert.Für den Aufbau einer Innenraumüberwachung oder Überwachung eines Gartens ist die Kamera auf jeden Fall sehr gut geeignet. Die App ist einfach anzuwenden.Was prima ist, ist das Einrichten von Aktionen: Kommt man nach Hause schaltet Kamera aus, wenn man geht wieder ein. So kann man eine Alarmanlage bauen mit Fernüberwachung

J’ai installé ce pack de deux caméras autour de la maison, et globalement je suis très satisfait. L’image est vraiment nette, même la nuit où la vision couleur apporte un vrai plus pour distinguer ce qui se passe dehors. L’autonomie annoncée paraît réaliste : après plusieurs semaines d’utilisation, la batterie descend très lentement, ce qui change de beaucoup de modèles qui nécessitent une recharge tous les mois.La configuration a été simple et assez rapide. Une fois en place, les caméras réagissent bien aux détections et les notifications arrivent quasi instantanément. L’audio bidirectionnel fonctionne, même si ce n’est pas la meilleure qualité du monde, mais c’est largement suffisant.Le seul point un peu moins agréable : pour profiter pleinement de toutes les fonctions avancées (zones de détection, historique complet…), l’abonnement Arlo Secure devient vite presque obligatoire. L’essai inclus permet de se faire une idée, mais il faut le garder en tête.Malgré ça, le rapport autonomie / qualité d’image / facilité d’installation est excellent. Très bon choix si on veut sécuriser son extérieur sans tirer de câbles.
