ANRAN CCTV CAMERA.
The Anran is a very good value cctv pzt camera, at a very affordable price. Easy to at up and use, connected seamlessly to my WiFi.Easy to use interface within the app.Works great with Alexa, yet agin set up very easy.Day and night picture quality very good.Not had the unit long enough to comment on the battery life, but with the fixer solar panel, after 5 days down to 94%, so going by that i think it’ll be good.

A good value for money upgrade & Addition to my existing security system.
in December 2025 I bought an Anran QO4 Max solar powered CCTV camera to complement & enhance my existing cctv system coverage.So far the camera has worked so well that I went and bought a second camera in January & am now seriously considering buying two smaller units for unprotected areas of my garden later this year when I have completed some major garden jobs.To begin with out of the box the cameras were impressive, they came in good quality packaging with all the necessary parts required to install the unit. The camera itself was solid & appeared to be well made, finished & all the rubber caps covering the electric connections fitted well providing a good weatherproof seal.I chose the white version of the camera as I wanted it it to be a highly visible deterrent to passers by & it is very visible on my front wall from a good distance.Setting it all up was very simple & straight forward, it does not require any great technical knowledge to getting it working. Firstly I charged it up as per instructions with the cable provided, all that I had to provide was a USB plug which I have already for other devices, in fact I used an old mobile phone charger plug I had spare.I then used the self adhesive template to mark & drill the location for the wall mount. This was most useful! the template stuck to the wall well without peeling off & allowed me to drill the brick correctly for the fitting & install the mount using the provided plugs & screws in about 15 minutes.Getting the device connected was also very straight forward, I downloaded the App to my phone, I installed a memory card in the camera switched it on & followed the simple instructions to connect it to my router, this again took about 10 minutes. (be aware you may need to format the card, but that too is straight forward)Once on the wall the picture & functionality was very good! The pan, tilt & zoom is good & very useful, attached is a photo of my car at 10 metres from the camera so you can see the quality of the camera, the night time vision is also good but not in colour. I have used the talk function on several occasions after receiving an alert on the APP & it too is useful to let people know that the areas is being monitored.Now there are more useful functions but I have not needed to use them, as it stands I have the cameras focused on specific areas & I have timed alerts coming to my phone when I want them which suits my needs perfectly, using a combination of the camera system & my own mobile phone control system. It is also very reassuring that should an incident occur I can press the record button & save anything to my onboard SD card for later retrieval.Now we come to the battery life, so far I have found it to be good! I have the camera on a south facing wall & it charges & holds charge well! As time goes on & the battery ages we will see how that goes? In the last two weeks when we only had two days of reasonable sunshine the charged dropped to about 48% before being topped up to maximum. So depending on how you have it set up this will vary. You may want to set your camera up to send fewer alerts & so conserve energy or you may want to take advantage of the free extra solar cell which you can order from the seller. I would recommend this as a precaution if your camera is not on a south facing wall.So to sum up my experience to date is Good & I am very happy with it so far. The system is very quick & easy to set up, it does not require any complex installation or wiring & it provides good quality video cover & alerts to cover my needs. I have an older more expensive wired CCTV system in place & to be frank the quality of the Anran is better, which is no surprise as it is newer & the technology is better

Very good for its price
Very good camera, it does what it says. The quality is very good for its price. Quite easy to set up and use it online. It does not store much data if not upgraded, but the motion detector seems reliable and handy. The basic solar panel is fixed on the camera so it has to be installed at a sunny spot, however extra panel is available for free. Night vision has good quality. I’m thinking of buying a second one.

Fantastic little camera!
I purchased this camera for a little more peace of mind and I must say it has genuinely exceeded expectations!The quality of the image for the price is quite something, and the camera itself feels well built.Night vision intelligence is really good, seems to work absolutely spot on so far.The battery life is a longevity thing so it’s a little too soon to comment on that as it’s only been up a week, but as long as you charge it on the mains before installation and put the camera in a position where it can get adequate sunlight throughout the day, there should be no problem. Also as an extra bonus, you can request and extra FREE solar panel from ANRAN direct with the purchase of the camera. :-)Motion detection itself is great. It alerts me to what I need, without triggering itself for everything I don’t. I.e… traffic, cats and pedestrians walking by..You can set boundaries along your property line on the camera which is an awesome feature to have!I have an SD card in mine which works wonderfully well so far and the camera is very easy to operate on the app.My only concern is the mounting bracket provided felt a little flimsy. It is solid when mounted to a brick wall, but I must admit after putting the camera on it for the first time it did feel like it would just fall off due to the weight of the camera itself. I’ve monitored it for a few days and all seems well so far!Overall incredibly happy with the purchase of this security camera. Will certainly buy from this brand again in future!

Excellent product
An excellent buy. The camera is very well made and nicely designed. The set up instructions are clear and it only took a few minutes to get it connected to my WiFi network and running. The app is intuitive and allows good control. The image quality is superb. The night vision especially useful with good image quality.The bright light and very loud siren (volume adjustable) on motion detection will be a definite deterrent. The ability to have a two way conversation again a real boon.At the moment I’ve put in a 125GB card but cloud storage is also available.I’ll need an additional remote solar panel. On emailing customer support I got a reply very quickly and customer support is excellent.I have no hesitation in recommending this camera.

Very good purchase, good image quality, it detects movements, it always stays charged and turns on the light when there is movement. You can record audio and it has an alarm, it does not come with the memory card included. You can turn it 360 degrees, you hear the sounds, easy to install, without a doubt a great purchase, I recommend it.

Excellent camera system. Fairly easy to install and set-up. Charged the battery before installing and the solar battery has maintained a full charge. I have found that “practicing” with the system helps to find more ways to use the system.

These things are the greatest thing since sliced bread. i love them! you can adjust the sensitivity and turn on a light for nighttime viewing. I love that it is solar powered and let’s me know when someone pulls up. the app worked pretty well but freezes up sometimes. The quality could be better but it does the job for me! the color is pretty close to what it is in person. I have bought 6 sets of these bad boys! lol
