Smart idea
I bought this for my new 2021 MacBook Pro 14inch. I had seen something similar recommended on a YouTube video, and when I saw Amazon Basics produce one, I thought I’d give it a go as I already have their phone stand and think it is a simple but fab bit of kit.This laptop stand is perfect for the size and weight of my laptop. It folds down very compact, so travelling with is would be a breeze.What this stand does: raises the angle of the keyboard, making it more comfortable to type on for long periods, and as it tilts the laptop the screen sits out 2 inches higher (not much, but it depends on what your needs are). It also creates space under the laptop to allow for ventilation.What this stand doesn’t do: It does not raise the height of the laptop screen significantly, so if this is something you were looking for, a differently stand is probably a better bet for you.Im really happy with the quality. The stand doesn’t move around when in use, and for the money I think it is fab!

Good value for money, one angle, foldable stand.
Great little stand for you laptop. Rubber feet on all metal parts that touch your laptop or table. Your laptop sits on top the stand rather than being supported or held in place, bur because of the rubber you laptop won’t move or shift when you type. Folds down flat so easy to put away or carry in a bag. Fixed angle so not adjustable but was just right for me anyway. Good value for money.

Works for 15” MacBook Air
Despite it only claiming to be suitable for slightly smaller laptops, it works well and is stable for my 15” MacBook Air. Substantial (solid aluminium with silicone supports), an elegant solution, inexpensive, and well made (apart from a slight blemish on the surface of the back), and the three silicone supports for the laptop don’t stick up and get in the way of typing.

£10 product brings out best of £3000 laptop
Solid product, works with Dell XPS 15 2018 no problems. Aluminium base with plenty of ventilation space stops overheating even when gaming. The rubber grips on the end that hold the laptop up do the job very well and don’t overlap even on a very thin laptop (so don’t dig into your wrists). And the whole thing folds flat enough to tuck into my laptop sleeve when I’m on the move.The overheating on my laptop means I had to perpetually run it at reduced power in the past, with this I can take off the breaks.

Best laptop riser in this price range
I was looking for a laptop riser which was lightweight, fits into a backpack and costs no more than £10. Before settling for this one I tried a couple of others in the same price range which had good reviews and looked like they would do the job. It turned out they were both subpar and were either flimsy or structurally impractical. This one neither of those things. It is sturdy, simple design and lightweight. The only reason I am giving it 4 starts is because it would be good if it rose a laptop a little higher.

I purchased this laptop stand after previously trying out another style of laptop stand from a different company. I quickly realized that it wasn’t what i was looking for and didn’t meet my needs as it was too bulky heavy and most importantly even when folded up it was still rather large to fit in my laptop sleeve pouch so i decided to have another look on Amazon and found this Amazon Basics Aluminum Portable Foldable Laptop Support Stand for Laptops up to 15 InchesIt looked a lot more promising for my needs which i was looking for a slim laptop stand that can fit it my laptop sleeve along with my laptop and to use with my 15.6 inch gaming laptop in the bed so i can comfortably game in bed without having to worry about my laptop overheating due to insufficient ventilation.I ordered it same day delivery via prime and it was delivered exactly at 8PM the following day and i used it with my gaming laptop all throughout the following night so i got a good chance to test it and share all of the pros and cons I’ve found out about it. Keep in mind these are only my personal opinions and your opinion may vary from different needs.First off, the build quality is really good and as advertised, the whole stand is indeed made of aluminum unlike the previous laptop stand i had mentioned getting which had like a wooden or particle board frame in the middle sandwiched by a thin aluminum top and bottom layer (which can be seen in the pictures I’ve attached to this review) which is an interesting build choice, but i would definitely rather this. The stand has anti-slip rubber feet and pads all over the stand from the top and bottom to prevent scratches to the laptop and hold the laptop and the stand in place.My only complaint about the build quality and actually my only complaint about the whole stand is the small metal pins that hold the foldable pivoting arm in the back together to the stand. They can come out if you try to take them out and it’s very possible they may accidentally pop out if you don’t check them and make sure they are properly in place and not coming out a little i might just eventually super glue my pins in place to make them permanent and hopefully never encounter this issue but i just thought I’d mention it because they could become loose over time due to vibration or during shipment and if not checked it’s possible they can potentially pop out and get lost. But it is a minor problem and still isn’t going to prevent me from giving this stand 5 stars as it was exactly what i was looking for especially because it’s easily permanently fixable with some glue.Other than that, it’s a great stand. Solid build quality, reasonable price and fulfilled it’s functions in what i was looking for in a laptop stand that the previous one didn’t which was slim size and portability while still offering great ventilation for my laptop even when using it in the bed and my laptop runs a lot cooler when it is elevated due to the intake being able to pull in fresh air and not getting obstructed. My favorite part is the form factor and compactness of this stand and how it can fit in my laptop sleeve along with my laptop. And as i previously mentioned, i don’t have to worry about it scratching my laptop because the stand has anti-slip rubber feet and pads all over the top & bottom.So my final verdict is that i can definitely & confidently recommend the Amazon Basics Aluminum Portable Foldable Laptop Stand for Laptops up to 15 Inches. It was able to hold my 15.6 inch gaming laptop just fine and it’s now my new favorite slim laptop stand i own.

Ho acquistato questo supporto per notebook perché dalla descrizione e dalle recensioni, sembrava leggero ma robusto, da chiuso prendeva poco spazio ed il prezzo era molto conveniente. Effettivamente è un ottimo prodotto fa benissimo il suo lavoro ma ha dei piccoli difetti che non me lo fanno valutare a 5 stelle.CARATTERISTICHEE’ un supporto in metallo con dei gommini per non far scivolare il notebook, può essere usato da qualsiasi notebook che rientri nei 13′, se è più grande diventa instabile.
