The new high-sensitivity SmartSens SC3335AI 3+3Mpixels CMOS sensors deliver clear, detailed images even in low-light conditions, processed by a Dual-core 32-bit DSP (XM535x). With a total of 8 high-performance infrared LEDs and the Advanced Imaging (AI) processing system, the camera can reliably AI detect movement at night, which the dome camera automatically tracks, records, and sends instant alerts about to the user’s phone (or supported smartwatch, such as Apple Watch), depending on the configuration. The alert typically arrives within 2–5 seconds. With an additional 8 white LEDs, the camera can also produce full-colour night footage (Colour Night Vision).

The upper camera module can rotate a full 360° (it can even be fixed to face backwards), while the lower dome offers remote-controlled movement with 280° horizontal and 90° vertical range (providing a total effective viewing coverage of up to 355°). It supports automatic panning, motion detection, motion tracking, and AI human shape recognition (it can reliably distinguish human movement from, for example, moving leaves or insects flying past, resulting in very few false alerts). The two camera feeds can be linked together.

Setup: Remove the protective films from the lenses and connect the camera to the mains using the 12-volt adaptor. Download the iCSee* app directly from your phone’s app store. Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are switched on. Open iCSee and create an account. Once registered and signed in, add the camera using the + icon in the top-right corner (follow the on-screen instructions). You may also use the app as a guest without signing in, but some features will not be available.

If you encounter any issues, reset the camera by holding the RESET button next to the SD card slot for 15 seconds, then restart the setup process.

Recommendation: After each installation or update, the iCSee app opens with ads enabled. You can switch these off in the Profile menu (Me button in the bottom-right corner), under Tools, in the Ads section.
