Love it slotted right into my life and taken everything else out what’s a ROG Ally again? I received it on the 30th of March it’s now the 10th of April I’ve been playing Witcher 3 and Apex and Rust on it, it’s spot on I’m slightly worried it’s crashed 3 times since I got it and has a slight jank to it sometimes but it quickly resolves itself so far so good and I definitely don’t regret it I do love it a lot

Amazing mini PC, but they need to work on fan control for light workloads
This mini PC is amazing. Having two SSD slots is a godsend, as I have a 8TB main drive & a 4TB backup, & they’re lightening fast.All in, this PC runs super fast & seriously powerful for it’s small formfactor.My **only** criticism is that even though the PC runs nice & cool (except when under load, as you’d expect) the manufacturer really needs to do work on fan profile management, as even when doing light tasks the fans often spin up, but the temperatures on the chip are reading low (room temperature almost) so there’s no need for the fans to run. I’ve taken to switching them off in BIOS & only allowing them to spin up when i’m gaming, & the PC runs like a dream. They need to allow the fans to turn off by default when in eco mode, but who knows how long it’ll take for them to do this.

Powerful for every need.
I think it’s only right to say I bought my EVO X2 a couple of months ago when it was on special offer so I paid £1395 whereas it now costs £700 more. But you know what? Even if I’d paid the £2100 current price, I’d still be more than happy! This is an incredible machine that blitzes pretty much any workload I can throw at it. 4K Video rendering and editing is no problem. For games fans, I fly MS Flight Sim 2024 (latest edition) with pretty much every setting on Ultra and it is still silky smooth in flight. I sometimes use my Oculus Quest 2 with it and it is breathtaking.The first thing I did when I received it was to add a second SSD as although 1 TB sounds a lot, it gets eaten up when saving 4K videos. I have put in a 4TB one so have 5TB in total and I have 4TB external so I can unplug it and take it with me to work and so forth. I still have a spare slot to add up to 8TB in the future but don’t think I’ll be doing that for quite some time!The built-in GPU is about equal to an NVidea 4070 which suits my needs completely. I’m sure there are more demanding games that would give it a harder time than what I’m throwing at it but I’ve seen Cyberpunk running it in 4K and still getting 40-50fps.Running LLM is incredible because this one has the Ryzen AI 395+ processor complete with a powerful NPU (neural processing unit) to handle demanding computational work in AI.The connectivity options are excellent and it stands up stably and neatly on my desktop. It takes up so little room compared to my previous tower yet this is way more powerful. Yes, you need to peel off the four rubber feet to undo the case screws to put in a new PCIe SSD card but trust me, it’s easy and the whole job for me, including installing a heat sink to go with it, took all of five minutes and I am not an engineer, just a hobbyist level user so if I can do it, so can you! The rubber feet went back on perfectly so no big deal.All in all, I have to say this is a quality, powerful PC that will meet all of my needs for a long time to come. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do 😃

Quiet PC with USB issues
The PC is very lightweight and could easily be accidentally knocked over. To add a new extra SSD drive you have to peel off the rubber feet to gain access which I think is a poor design. The biggest issue I have is that the USB 4 at the front and the rear keep cutting out randomly around 2 to 3 time an hour. This is a worry since I have a data drive attached and am concerned about data corruption. On the plus side the integrated graphics are great and generally the PC is quiet. I would not recommend this PC because of the USB Issue.
