Value, quality and functionality.
The trimmer is very sturdy with excellent mechanical and electrical connections. The ability to use as a standard hedge trimmer or convert to an extending pole is very convenient and the best of both worlds. -27% price offer at the moment was too good to miss! Good instruction manual making it easy to set up but came with an extra handle which was not mentioned! (see first photo). Contacted Hyundai which was acknowledged but no solution to date so suspect they are not aware! After experimentation I found that this handle is best fitted above the foam pole grip towards the locking mechanism and angled up the same as the fixed switch handle on the main motor/ blade unit. The trimmer is, as to be expected, heavy when extended but this extra handle serves to counterbalance the weight. As someone in their late 70s and not tall I certainly had no problems with this configuration.An additional plus for the Hyundai is a full three year warranty for non professional use – most competitors only provide 1 year.PS: Genpower have confirmed that the extra handle is indeed to be fitted as I thought. I note that the trimmer is now up to full price with a dispatch time of 1 – 3 weeks. The latest illustration now shows the positioning of the “extra” handle as confirmed. Pleased I bought when I did!

Keep an eye on your cable.
A great buy. A very good product, its well made. While it’s a bit heavy to use while extended for a long period, the fact you can dismantle the hedge trimmer from the pole when you don’t need the pole makes the job much easier, comfortable and very efficient. A good all round hedge trimmer, and worth the price.

Great trimmer! Cuts easily through hedge branches less than 1cm thick, and can just about cut through slightly thicker than 1cm.It leaves a good, clean cut finish.Great extendability and ability to angle. Long power cable.Although the end is heavy with the main motor, the handle and belt help with holding it.I love using this machine!

Not my best buy.
Aw, if you are light weight and not a tall person, it might be tricky to handle on buttons as it might be difficult to reach when used as a pole version.I don’t do weight lifting and it was hard work to handle this 2 in 1 convertible pole hendge trimmer. It felt heavy.This was recommended by great source and I’m slightly disappointed.Great value of money .

Excellent Hedge trimmer
Just used this hedge trimmer for the first time and am very pleased with the results. I’ve used it to cut back a cherry laurel hedge that is about 4m high and quite overgrown. It tackled the job with ease, was much more powerful than I thought it would be and cut through most of the thicker branches with ease. The extendable pole was good. It felt a little wobbly, but it done the job very well. I haven’t tried to cut along the top of the hedge yet, so am keen to get that all level. If it does the top as well as the sides, it is a cracking piece of kit

Great bit of kit
Easy to assemble and use, corded means good continuous power. Cut the hedge down in minutes.Using the extension pole is good for the high parts. Found it a little heavy but it’s quick so no issues using it.

Feels like this is a good and robust product. Its heavy when using with the long arm (suggest wearing gloves for better grip) but it does the job and cheaper than battery powered options…plus from a known manufacturer. Worth buying with gloves.Also may be at a lower price under the ‘Other sellers on Amazon’ link
