Great choice for beginners

really good quality camera and drone is very gopd very easy to use i did it really easily wirhout even using the insctuctions the only thing i saw was the app i had to go on and just stay away from trees and apart from tbst i would highly recommend it over 100 times 🙂

Good one isssue
Good slight issue like it is in the advert great stability good for beginners .i would say that the camera can lag greatly and makes it hard to fly good value for money and has a great battery life . The flip button is very fun to use and when the camera doesn’t lag it makes a good photo

Uncontrollable on First Flight – Flew Away and Ignored All Controls
My son bought this drone with his Christmas money and was incredibly excited to fly it. We followed the instructions carefully, completed the calibration, and used the take-off button as instructed. Initially, the drone lifted and hovered correctly, so everything appeared to be working as promised.However, as soon as we gently pushed the controller to ascend just a few feet, the drone suddenly accelerated away at speed. It flew over the park, over nearby houses, and off across open fields. From that moment on, it did not respond to any controls at all — including the emergency landing button.There was no way to stop it, slow it down, or bring it back. It simply disappeared.This was the very first flight, in suitable conditions, and after following all setup procedures. This was not misuse or inexperience — the drone was clearly faulty and completely uncontrollable. A product that can fly away instantly and ignore all commands is not safe, not reliable, and certainly not fit for purpose.My son is absolutely gutted, and as a parent it’s incredibly frustrating to see £50 of his own money wasted on something that failed immediately. The product promised a stable, controllable flight experience but delivered the opposite.I would strongly caution other buyers, especially parents purchasing this for children. Based on our experience, this drone cannot be trusted.

Great drone
I bought this for my son’s 10th birthday. It’s an excellent drone, and very easy to fly thanks to the automatic takeoff mode. It’s fun For both children and adults to fly, and is excellent value for money.If your main purpose is to take video or photos, then this probably is not the drone for you as the video / photo quality is not the best. I’d recommend looking for a 4K camera drone in this case. For flying around and having some fun, this is a super drone for the money. The flying range is great too, at near 100m.

C’était ma première expérience avec un drone et cet appareil est idéal pour débuter! Le drone est petit et léger et il est assez facile pour un débutant d’apprendre à le contrôler. Je conseille toutefois de commencer à le faire voler à l’extérieur pour bien apprendre à le contrôler avant de passer à l’intérieur. La télécommande répond bien et l’application pour téléphone fonctionne parfaitement. Elle permet de contrôler le drone et de prendre des photos et des vidéos à 720 p. Les deux batteries rechargeables permettent chacune environ 15 minutes de vol, ce qui est suffisant à mon avis, car un séance de 30 minutes suffit pour se pratiquer et s’amuser. Il faut compter ensuite environ une heure pour recharger chaque batterie avec le chargeur fourni. Ce drone est parfait pour débuter, mais il faut lire attentivement le manuel d’instruction fourni pour le calibrer et apprendre ses différentes fonctionnalités. J’apprécie notamment les fonctions qui permettent de faire tourner automatiquement le drone sur lui-même. Cela donne l’impression d’être passé à un niveau supérieur, même si tout se fait automatiquement. Je ne confierais pas ce drone à un enfant de moins de 8 ans, à moins de le superviser de près et de tenir la télécommande pour l’aider.

As a relatively new drone enthusiast, I logged countless number of research hours scouring the net for the best beginner drone at the right price point with advanced functionality to keep me entertained as I develop my skills. I luckily landed on this HS drone package and I’m extremely happy with my purchase! From the minute you open the box with it’s minimalistic packaging, to it’s well designed bag with sturdy safe foam housing, this drone is super easy to get up in the air in a hurry. Whether you use the GPS auto return feature or the altitude mode to start your ascent, this drone is sleek and easy to maneuver. The follow me GPS feature is super cool (works much better outside) and the drone was able to hold it’s own even in windy conditions at the beach. Camera resolution is great with 1080P and I only wished it had an adjustable lens, but for the price point I get it. The remote is sturdy and compact with my phone well secured with the adjustable grip. The ergo handles made it easy to hold. The flight time using both batteries is as advertised 13+13=26 min. Even after crashing it a couple of times, while testing the kill switch, the drone is super durable and barely scratched. All in all, the drone is definitely giving you bang for buck and I’d highly recommend it for beginners or more advanced users.

Purchased for a 10 year old, quick learning curve with the features built into unit. Great service from Holy Stone in providing solutions to one of the motors that was not providing the correct lift. Prompt reply and follow up and excellent solutions. would recommend this unit as a beginner drone.

After researching several different drones, i decided to buy this one, the Holy Stone HS110G…. it was given as a gift from my mother to my son.The directions and assembly were decent and easy.I love the fact that it has a return to home feature, and Auto takeoff and landing. My son is 10 years old, and this is his first drone.The app is simple to use, and the picture quality is great.CONS:My only complaint so far is the batteries….. the kit comes with 2 batteries, which have approx 10-13 min of run time each, which is not horrible…. but to charge the batteries, they need to be in the drone…. the drone is the charger. This is very inconvenient. I saw on Holy Stones website that there is a Charging Hub, with room for 2 Batteries, but Amazon says it is Unavailabe, and not sure if it will become availabe. I noticed that other models offer a USB plug port on the battery itself, this is not an option with these batteries.Overall, i feel this is a great choice for a kid/teen/adult first drone.

I recently purchased the Holy Stone HS110G as my first drone. I researched as best I could and there seem to be several good options. For around $150 this seems to be a very good option. I’ve flown the drone a few times and here are my thoughts:Pros:- The drone has many videos to demonstrate how to fly the drone (HolyStone and YouTube)- The iPhone app and instructions work well setup for controlling the drone- The drone has a “Beginner” mode that limits the height and distance of flight- The Auto-takeoff and Return to Home work amazingly well. The drone will land within 3′ of where it took off.- The video/pictures are pretty good quality (1080p) – again $150 – you’re not getting all the bells and whistles- The drone comes with 2 batteries and spare propellers- Customer service is pretty good, you usually have to wait a day between emails, but they do respond and do try to be helpful- It was easy to fly in Beginner mode and you can gain flying confidence using this mode- It flies well even in 5-10mph windCons:- The batteries take about 2 hours to charge with the USB cable. Flying time is around 13 minutes per battery- My camera won’t record to the SD card, I’ve emailed Customer Service and they are sending me a new camera. I’ll update this review once I receive it. It will record (not as high quality) videos and pictures to my iPhone. What I have learned is the MicroSD card needs to be Class 10 and formatted as FAT32 to work- The drone doesn’t come with a case any longer. You need some kind of case/box to transport and store the droneEveryone says and it’s true, learn to fly the drone in a large wide-open space (without trees). I have been to a sports park with baseball/football fields and a school field.This is not a drone for children.I’m very happy with the drone as my first drone, it’s easy to fly and Customer Support is responsive.I’ll update this post after I try some of the other advanced features like map mode and follow me.
