Ich habe seit ein paar Tagen die EUHOMY Eiswürfelmaschine im Einsatz und möchte nun meinen bisherigen Eindruck damit schildern.Schon beim Auspacken macht diese einen wertigen und gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. Es liegt eine kleine Schaufel zur Eisentnahme, sowie eine mehrsprachige Bedienungsanleitung bei, bei dir mich besonders die detaillierte Aufführung und Beschreibung der Eiswürfelmaschine inkl. Explosionszeichnung der Einzelteile und Schaltplan beeindruckt hat.Zu beachten sei hier, das man vor dem ersten Einsatz der Maschine diese 24 Stunden stehen lassen soll, damit sich das darin befindliche Kältemittel setzen kann.Die Handhabung der Maschine wird darin auch sehr einfach und deutlich erklärt und wirft im Allgemeinen keine Fragen auf.Man füllt in den vorderen Teil der Maschine Wasser bis zur MAX Markierung ein, drückt die Power Taste und schon beginnt die Maschine mit Ihrer Arbeit. Zuerst spült sie einmal kurz mit Wasser durch und startete danach mit der Eisproduktion.Dies dauert, ca. 7-8 Minuten bis die erste Charge von Eiswürfeln fertig ist. Die ersten Eiswürfel waren bei mir noch etwas kleiner und dünner, aber dies wird nach und nach besser und spätestens bei der dritten Ladung hatten die Eiswürfel dann eine schöne und volle Form, so wie ich sie mir vorgestellt habe.Wenn die Eiswürfel fertig sind, fallen diese von den Gefrierstäben ab und werden von einer kleinen Schaufel in den Auffangkorb transportiert (siehe Video). Dieses Schauspiel ist schon beeindruckend und es macht Spaß dies zu beobachten.Wenn während der Produktion das Wasser im Behälter zu wenig wird, stoppt die Maschine und es leuchtet die Lampe “ADD WATER”. Wenn man dann Wasser nachgefüllt hat, muss man die Maschine einmal Aus- und wieder Einschalten. Sie beginnt dann nicht automatisch wieder mit der Eiswürfelproduktion.Sollte der Auffangkorb voll sein, wird dies über eine kleine Lichtschranke erkannt und die Maschine stoppt die Produktion ebenfalls und es leuchtet die Lampe “ICE FULL”.Zum Reinigen kann man den Auffangkorb einfach entnehmen und einen Stopfen an der Unterseite der Maschine entfernen und so überschüssiges Wasser einfach ablassen.Zusätzlich gibt es ein Selbstreinigungsprogramm, indem man 5 Sekunden den Power-Button drückt, dann spült sich die Maschine ca. 30 Minuten mit dem eingefüllten Wasser durch.Alles in allem bin ich wirklich beeindruckt von dieser Eiswürfelmaschine, sowohl von dem Zeitraum, indem sie die Eiswürfel produziert, als auch von dem Gesamtaufbau, der Funktion und auch von der Geräuschkulisse der Maschine. Diese hält sich in meinen Augen noch wirklich im Rahmen.Testen durfte ich diese Eiswürfelmaschine im Rahmen des Amazon Vine Programms, was aber keine Auswirkungen auf mein Urteil hat und somit vergebe ich 5 Sterne.

I ordered this ice making machine because I wanted to try one of the ultra fast ones. Ever since I had seen them, I wanted to try them. I was excited to get this one and give it a go. It’s really fast and epic.The machine comes with an ice scoop, an ice tray and some in-depth instructions. It said to leave upright for 24 hours before you make any ice so that’s what I did.The machine is ultra simple to operate. You basically give it a rinse. Take the ice tray up and scoop. Fill it with water. There is a little mark on the bottom of the ice maker so you don’t fill the water past the line. Then you put the tray in. Plug it in. Press power and 6 minutes later you have nine ice cubes. And it just keeps making ice. I ran it for around a half an hour and got around 45 pieces of ice. Which is pretty awesome.The time fluctuates a bit based on your room temperature. I tested it out in the winter so it was probably a bit colder than the the summertime. It says it can take from 6 to 13 minutes to make a batch of nine ice cubes.The ice cubes are kind of hollow in the middle. They are cylindrical shaped with a round end and a flat hollow end. With the indent of the little metal piece that it hooks to.It is pretty amazing Tech. It’s hard to see what’s really going on in the machine when it is powered on. But if you look in you can see nine little metal cylinders sticking out from the top. This is where the ice cubes form. Then it has a little swing arm that pulls them off and pushes them into the ice cube tray.The ice maker has two little LEDs on the top. One shows when the ice tray is full and the other shows when you need to add water. To operate it, you simply press the power button. It says to wait 3 minutes before you press power to let the water settle.It also has a self cleaning mode. You hold the power button down for 5 seconds and it activates the self-cleaning mode. It takes around a half an hour.It has a little drain on the bottom as well for when you’re not using it. You simply Drain and the water out. Wipe it down and dry it and put it away until you need it next. It says to clean it once a week if you’re using it all the time. And to use some vinegar and lemon water.I really love it!. No complaints. Works fast. Makes great ice cubes for drinks. Great for when company is over. It will be great in the summer for barbecues and parties and just having fresh ice whenever I want it. In 6 minutes. I can totally recommend it. The tech has come a long way. This would make a great gift and it’s pretty awesome. Thanks.

I really like this countertop ice maker. It’s small but perfect for a one person apartment or dorm. It really does make 9 cubes in 6 minutes, so if the bin is empty I can have enough ice for my 32 or 40oz cup by the time I’m finished cooking dinner.The cubes are shaped kinda like gum drops with a hollow space from the flat end almost to the curved end. I really like this shape as it doesn’t get stuck at the rim when I’m trying to take a drink like some do. The small ice holder inside can come out to be washed and it also comes with a small plastic ice scoop.There is no freezing power with this unit. The ice comes out and will melt over several hours if not used. The melt water drips down to the water reservoir and is remade into ice. I don’t mind this at all; I just leave it on all the time and as long as there’s water in the chamber there’s always ice when I want it. It takes about a quart of water to fill the reservoir and I usually just add a cup or two when I think about it. You can’t overfill without noticing, because the ice catcher sits on top of the reservoir and the water raises to flood the catcher if filled with too much water. If this happens I just leave it.The unit is not very heavy and has a handle to carry it if needed. It has a heavy duty plug that goes into a normal outlet. I kept an eye on my electric bill for a while after I started using it, and there wasn’t a noticeable increase from leaving it plugged in all the time so that’s what I do.Overall it’s a functional unit that doesn’t take up a ton of counterspace, so I’m pretty pleased with it.
