Can I connect headphones directly to the speakers?

Yes. The D100X includes a dedicated headphone socket on the rear panel for private listening without needing an additional adapter.

Will these speakers remember my volume settings?

If the speakers are powered off at maximum volume, they will restart at a safer, reduced level when switched back on, helping protect both the speakers and your ears .

Do I need to adjust TV settings to get the best sound?

For best results when using HDMI ARC or Optical, the connected TV should be set to PCM audio output. This ensures proper signal compatibility and consistent sound performance from the speakers

Do I need an amplifier or receiver to use these speakers?

No. The D100X are active bookshelf speakers with built-in amplification, so you can connect your TV, phone, turntable or other devices directly without needing a separate amp or receiver.

Is it easy to switch between devices like a TV and a phone?

Yes. Input switching is simple using either the remote control or the front input knob, with voice prompts confirming each selected mode, making it easy to move between TV audio, Bluetooth streaming or other sources.

Excellent Set of Speakers very reasonably priced
I received these as a birthday present to myself. They are very well packaged and when I got them out of the box x 2 and of the nice cotton bags I was impressed not only of the look of them but also the weight, I have bought speakers before that are light and then sound “Tinny”I bought the Majority D1000X to pair with my laptop. I had a large amount of music in mp3 form (about 128 gig from a life time of collecting). I am not the most digital savvy of people but I must say I was impressed how easy it was to set up. Unlike most “plug and play” things I’ve bought in the past this was just plug and play!! I love the spoken acknowledgement of connectionThe sound is great with good Bass and treble responses and I am re-enjoying my wide range of music again from really “bassy” music like Guns and Roses, through the full effect of Classical Masterpieces to the purity of single female voice like June Tabor (Yes I have eclectic taste and these serves all of them)Is there any improvements I can think of? I have presently placed them on a carpeted floor so need to get some speaker stands (ordered!) but otherwise I am 100% satisfied!! Great speakers which remind me of my Mission Speakers from the mid 80sAll in All a very good looking and sounding Set of speakers at a very reasonable priceBob Percey

    Sleekest speakers for the price
I’ve been using the Majority bookshelf speakers with my TV for a while now, and honestly, I’m really impressed. First off, they look great. The design is clean and modern, and they sit perfectly next to my TV without looking bulky or out of place. They actually enhance the overall setup rather than just being “there.”Sound quality is where these speakers really shine. For bookshelf speakers, the audio is surprisingly powerful and well-balanced. The sound is clear, rich, and immersive, whether I’m watching movies, TV shows, or listening to music. Dialogue comes through crisp and sharp, while the bass is punchy without being overwhelming. The overall sound feels full and refined, not tinny or flat like cheaper speakers often do.Another big plus is how easy they were to set up. Connecting them to my TV was quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated. Everything worked smoothly right out of the box, with no complicated steps or constant tweaking needed.Build quality is also excellent. These speakers feel solid and well-made — definitely not cheap or flimsy. The finish is polished and premium, giving the impression of a much more expensive product. You can tell care went into the materials and construction.Overall, the Majority bookshelf speakers offer amazing sound quality, great build, and an attractive design at a very reasonable price. They’ve been a solid upgrade to my TV audio, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for stylish, easy-to-use speakers that deliver superb performance.

    Great price, stylish, super quality
I was encouraged to buy Majority due to the choice of style that was offered, the extended free warranty and great reviews. I’m not a tech expert whatsoever so wasn’t sure what to expect. But I am delighted with the quality for the money. They look great to start with and were so simple to set up. Having had a low range soundbar before, I now realise how poor this was. These speakers produce the sound experience of a cinema, not just volume but all the underlying sounds that I never knew were coming out of my TV! I did buy them for music until I read someone was using them for their TV – it’s amazing. Volume is fantastic, would never need it at full volume even in my detached bungalow!! Stylish remote too. Absolutely made up with them, can’t believe what you get for the price – and the extended warranty. A very friendly, customer-focused UK company – a very happy customer!

    What a shame
Look great, although the cabinet veneer is quite plasticky up close.Bluetooth connectivity is good.Sound quality is very good, rich and warm. But, the remote control and speakers have a lag which makes selecting the input source fiddly and often frustrating, having to cycle multiple times before getting the right source selected. Here’s the big problem. The volume is hopeless on all settings, with all inputs regardless of settings. Phono is the stand out in how poor it is. Not whisper quiet but not far off. Remember this has a built in Pre-amp.The Customer Support at Majority were always prompt and helpful but basically confirmed everything was set up correctly. After a software update, at Majority’s suggestion, the speakers failed and had to be replaced. Which Majority sorted without fuss. The replacement speakers are no better. I have old 17w speakers which out perform these 100w speakers by approx 50 -100% on top end volume. So these speakers are only ideal for a very small room only.Don’t buy if you want to use with a turntable. Get a stand alone amp and passive speakers.

Super sound, not the strongest Bluetooth connection
Great build quality and superb sound. The only thing that lets them down is the Bluetooth connection. It’s drops out very easily unless my phone is close by whereas my JBL speaker can stay connected to my phone as I walk into and out of other rooms and floors in my house.

Wirklich alles vom Feinsten. Dank an Majority.

In totale solo 7 con: 1) Accensione/spegnimento, 2) Audio On/Off, 3) Volume UP/DOWN, 4) Traccia precedente 5) Traccia successiva 6) Selezione ingressi audio, 7) Play/Pausa per riproduttore mp3.
