Amazing Camera, Simple, Reliable and does the job!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this camera has been nothing short of amazing! Honestly worth every penny.Super easy to set up, and with the solar panel it’s stayed on 100% charge since day one, let’s see how it does in the UK winter 👀Not long after I installed it, a group actually came into my back garden and the camera scared them off. I’ve set the alarm and light settings kick in on detection at certain times.The app is simple to use, and I love the microphone feature, I use it to call the kids in when they’re playing outside.Overall, a great product. I’ve been recommending it to all my friends!

Very useful
Works a treat now i’ve got it set up. Not a 5 star because it was fiddly to set up. That said, Baseus customer service were very helpful to me. Very sturdy piece of kit. Just make sure you set it up with your phone right next to your router and site it outside as near as you can to the router. Seems to hold it’s charge well and even in December it is charging from the solar powered battery.

Easy one that, if it doesn’t connect and you’re a BT customer, contact their technical helpline
Just set up, last 24 hours trying to get connected ! It seems BT runs on 5gb and 4.2gb and the unit was confused ! BT technician was very helpful and able to manipulate the system to make the connection. That’s the bad bit.Once the above was resolved, everything went smoothly and setup was accomplished within a minute. Quality is excellent, picture excellent, crystal clear. Fixing two screws, no problems.It’s overcast and drizzling at moment so unable to comment on solar charging aspect, but not expecting any problems, already have a solar operated light so not using the cameras light which will save its power.

Poor motion detection, but good picture quality.
Motion detection is not good at all. You can’t draw irregular shape safety zone only square which also can’t be rotated. Even at lowest sensitivity camera catch every passing car reflection or light flash and start recording for no reason. Minimum time between recordings is 5 sec. so there always will be 5 sec. gap between recordings.Camera itself is built exceptionally good. Battery always stays at max charge. Solar cell automatically rotate itself accordingly to the suns position. Picture quality is perfect. Even in low light you can see car number plates and people faces.Pros:Good sturdy design.Rotating solar cell.Easy installation.Very good image quality.No subscription or data collection (yet).Handles wifi very good.Clear and loud speaker.6Gb inbuilt storage.Cons:Poor motion detection.Can’t draw custom safety zones. Only non rotatable squares.Camera can’t record continuity (only motion detected videos).No connection for external power supply.Only 2.4ghz wifi.Flash light pretty weak.Pretty large.5 sec. gap between between recordings.

Just doesn’t work as it should
No matter how close to the Wi-Fi the camera is, it just displays 0kb – it’s still alerts me when someone moves into the motion detection zone, but you can’t see anything, no live view. Really, just a terrible piece of technology

Excellent camera and great value for the money the camera is easy to put up just use the template provided drill and screw in, connection to the internet is straightforward if you’re WiFi is good check your connection before attaching to the wall, the app is straightforward to use and the picture quality is good set the sensitivity to low if you are getting to many unnecessary notifications just go through your settings to see what works for you.
