This controller works on the PS, but also the PC, android and iOS, but I tried this just on a PC.It connects to the PC with minimal fuss, just search on the add a device and click connect. No trouble at all.There is no configuration required and is especially good for PS games ported to the PC. Surprisingly solid RGB PS4 pad that feels close to the real thing
I picked up this RGB wireless controller as a replacement for a tired old PS4 pad and it’s honestly a lot better than I expected for the price. Pairing it was simple (using the included USB-C cable for the first connection) and since then it’s just behaved like a normal controller, with no random disconnects on my PS4 or when I’ve used it on PC and an Android tablet. In the hand it feels sturdy and comfortable, all the main buttons and triggers are responsive, the sticks are smooth with no drift so far, and the D-pad is actually more accurate than some other third-party pads I’ve tried. The cracked RGB shell has gone down really well in my house – it looks great in a dark room and you can tweak or turn the lighting off if you don’t fancy the full “gamer disco” look. Battery life has been strong too; I’ve had long sessions without needing a top-up, and USB-C charging is much more convenient than micro-USB. It’s not pretending to be a pro eSports pad – the rumble feels fairly basic and ultra-picky FPS players might still prefer an official controller – but as a budget replacement or extra pad it absolutely does the job: comfortable, good-looking, easy to set up and far better value than paying full price for an original.
