A good option, especially for the smaller wrist.
Only received this on Sunday 15th Mar, so this is my experience after one day. I’ll try to follow up after longer ownership.First impressions have been quite good. The watch is nice on the wrist and being ’40mm’ sits nicely on my smaller wrist. The silicone strap is soft and doesn’t irritate,I haven’t tried the brown strap yet, but again it feels reasonably soft. I may look at getting a Nato style strap at some point as I prefer that style. The app seems to do everything needed, covering most sports that I’ll be unlikely to use but nice to have. The watch itself is clear and fairly responsive to the touch. I haven’t used it to answer a call yet, but when I did get a call the watch is loud and the vibration would be enough to indicate a call if it was on silent. There’s a good selection of free watch faces and also a lot of paid for faces. The cost for them isn’t high but not sure i’d ever pay for one.The step counter seems to work okay, although I can’t say at this point how accurate it is. Same with the heart rate, sleep and stress indicators, they look interesting but no idea how accurate they are. I’ll look at testing this maybe at a later date. One thing that doesn’t seem to be reported in the selling literature is the actual size of the display. The watch is sold as 40mm, but the actual display is 33-34mm. Not a lot of difference but it makes for quite a thick ‘bezel’ around the outside of the watch face. This isn’t an issue for me as I didn’t want a diner plate sized watch, but something to be aware of when buying. The battery seems to be holding up quite well. It was on 91% when it arrived, I charged it fully and at the time of writing this it’s at 73%. However, as it’s new, I’ve been messing about with all the options and configurations, so would expect it to drop a little more than in everyday use.I’ve given it 5 stars based on my limited usage, however we’ll see how it goes in the long term.

A great watch for a great price with all the features I need.
Having tried various watches from £40 to £130, this is the best I’ve found. It’s the only one where the actual size comes even close to the claimed size (and in all other cases, that was a deal breaker for me)! So lets get clear what the measured dimensions of this watch are: lug to lug 47mm, case diameter 43mm, dial diameter 31mm, thickness 9/10mm. I’m not sure about the raised pins on the magnetic charger, but it works well and takes around 130 minutes to charge from ~5% to 100% which is excellent. Battery life for me (bearing in mind, that the biggest consumers of battery is display illumination and blutooth communication) is excellent for the first charge of 8 days. Bearing in mind that when you first set up a watch, invarariably you fiddle with settings, turn everything on then settle down to just having on the features you want to use, so recharge interval ought to go up.I purchased the slate grey model with black silicone wristband. The description says the case material is ABS plastic and it has a pleasing finish and the crystal has a gently bezelled edge. Unlike some other stainless steel models, the weight is only ~46 grams. One of the larger stainless steel models I trialled weighed 132 gms. If you are intending to monitor sleep profile then the weight on your wrist can be significant. Also if you turn over in bed suddenly, a heavy watch might be a risk for your night time partner!I specifically wanted a watch with an analogue dial with a clear display. The analogue option that comes as standard is excellent: the second sweep is picked out in red and like an old watch has a date window. There is a red pip which appears on the 12 if you have any messages. Swiping up on the display brings up a thumbnail of any messages or emails, double tapping displays the whole message and there is a dustbin to remove any thumbnails from the watch but not your phone. There is an option to turn on the display when raising the wrist and the length of on-time is selectable. Alternatively pressing the button has the same effect. The raising the wrist feature is a little annoying at night as the display is quite bright. A feature to disable it between say 11pm and 5am would be nice although I just pull down the settings menu and toggle it off. If you need the time at night, pressing the button continues to work.I am particularly interested in health data (not sports or fitness) just the obvious: steps, sleep function, heart rate, calorie consuption (not sure about this one) stress and SpO2. There are others that require you to enter data in manually but I’m not interested in those. The app on my android phone is excellent. The various items come up in a tile format and tapping the tile brings up a more detailed display of the information with the abilty to review previous days and on some a running average. Whereas I’m sure I can subscribe and pay for more features, the free ones are all I need and there is not a constant ticker coming up suggesting I subscribe. (unlike the fitbit that this has replaced).I’ve used the phone feature which appears to work well but not something I’m drawn to.I’ve opted in to the 2 year warranty and all in all I’m very satisfied with it. I got it for £40 which 5* VFM and features.Battery life for me is ~8 days so very happy although I have found that on a couple of occasions, the battery went flat in a few hours. It was however after I had been fiddling with the settings/features so might have left the watch in an indecisive state. Never happened under normal circumstances. Having turned off various features I’m sure that the battery running down quickly is due to the call answering feature. Since I’ve disabled it, I’ve had no further problems.

Easy set up, better than the more expensive smart watches
On receipt of my smart watch I was impressed with the nice, sleek packaging. The watch itself was more impressive, I chose the one with the gold metal wristband, which is a lovely, rose gold colour. The screen is a good size & crystal clear. I was dreading setting it up as me & technology do not get on but oh my,it was super easy ! Clear & concise instructions guide you through the navigation. I can’t comment yet about its efficacy but it’s got to be better than the one I’m wearing atm. It’s got loads of features, including workouts, free watch faces, calming music etc. You can add your own sports too. There’s a Facebook page & a community to help you along your way. A definite 👍 from me

Good watch. The battery is good. It was better maybe to have the mails and the social network too.I changed the bracelet and put a leather one.

I’ve been wearing “smart watches” for over 10 years and have been through them all. I just got tired of watching prices climb and features fail. Once the big G bought out my last major brand of watch I was done. I went low price and boy was that a mistake, turned me off of watches all together. After almost a year without one I decided to pick this one up and see if a low price watch would do what I need. I’m very impressed.Yes it looks like an certain fruit brand watch but not too much. The faces are customizable and give a few good options for most tastes. This watch functions fully and quickly unlike my last venture in to cheap watch land. SP02, pulse, stress (which i assume is close to blood pressure) exercise, calorie burning, and sleep tracking all just work fast and easy. It tracks much more, but I don’t use it.It has two games that I can’t figure out and it is easy to set up the watch without logging in n signing up, or giving permissions… I’m not going to do that anymore. This watch is great for a no permissions given setup on android!Overall charge has lasted 5 days so far and I’m still at 52%. Screen is bright and clear, I have customized the settings to keep the screen off and not turn on while I sleep, I didn’t even read the directions.**Update 4 months later:The battery life kept up. This is a huge plus, I still was able to Function without signing up for an account, but I did loose many weeks of data if I wasn’t constantly paying attention to manually synch. This is my own choice so I can’t blame them at all. I can say a weird thing happened to me at the beginning of September. The watch band had started to irritate my skin. I thoroughly washed the band and went back to wearing my watch after 3-4 days when the irritation completely healed. A week later, same thing, so I washed and tried again, bascially it was a pattern for about 3 weeks or more then the loop at the end of the clasp broke in my sleep. The part that goes around the band and has the latch in the middle just broke.I like the watch and will look for a replacement band as that isn’t a deal breaker for me, just found it interesting that the irritations started and then it just broke. Bands break, still willing to replace the band and keep wearing it though, so still 5 stars for the price/benefit breakdown. So, cheap without a cheap feel and good privacy. So far a big recommend, I’ll update as my experience grows.Update Jan, 2026This finally lost enough for me to send it to recycle. Recharging was becoming much more frequent with about a 30% loss of useful battery over time. The band split open and broke off the watch… I could have replaced the band but with the loss of battery it was just time. For the price, not bad.

This smartwatch is the best among those I’ve tried at a similar price point. It includes the typical features of smartwatches in this price range: various sports modes, Bluetooth calling, SMS notifications, music playback control, blood oxygen, blood pressure, heart rate monitoring, weather forecast, sleep tracking, alarm clock, stopwatch, and various reminders. Additionally, it has a calculator, calendar, and two mini-games. It uses the VeryFit app and is water-resistant.Pros:- The screen supports Always-On Display (AOD) mode, giving you the option to use it despite the increased battery consumption. You can also set AOD to be active during specific time periods, which helps save battery life.- Besides manually turning on the screen, you can cover the screen to turn it off. This feature is rare in smartwatches at this price point.- The raise-to-wake function is reliable, activating the screen promptly when needed and turning it off quickly when the wrist is lowered to save power.- The watch has two physical buttons: one for screen wake and back functions, and another for home screen access. The scroll wheel is usable.- Battery percentage is displayed accurately. Without AOD, the watch lasts a long time on a single charge.- It’s lightweight and slim.- Sleep tracking is highly accurate and works all day, unlike some watches that only track during specific hours. Heart rate monitoring is good and includes HRV measurement. The blood pressure readings are relatively accurate for a smartwatch.- Weather forecasts include current conditions, high and low temperatures, and a weekly forecast.- You can choose different ringtones in the settings, which is uncommon at this price.- The music player allows you to adjust volume, play, stop, skip tracks, and displays the current track name, channel, and progress.- During calls, you can use a numeric keypad, essential for calls requiring number input. Many smartwatches lack this feature.- Call history is color-coded and categorized, and you can delete call logs.- You can control the phone’s camera shutter without needing the app, unlike other smartwatches.- It supports up to 20 contacts, more than most smartwatches.- Notification fonts are clear and easy to read.- The VeryFit app allows language settings independent of the phone’s language.- The game, a dice roller, is useful in certain situations, and the other, a plane shooting game, is responsive and entertaining.- The silicone strap provided is of good quality: non-irritating, breathable, and the loop stays in place.Cons:- The calculator lacks a delete key, so any mistake requires starting over.- Language options are only available through the app.- The number of apps that you can choose for pushing notifications to the smartwatch is very limited- Although the music player has an option to play music on the watch, I couldn’t get it to work, and there’s no such option in the phone’s Bluetooth settings.- No option to completely turn off vibration without setting DND mode (which blocks many things including phone calls)Overall, the hardware and software are impressive and offer great value for the price. However, the VeryFit app is not the best I’ve used. Despite this, the watch is the best quality I’ve encountered in its price range, comparable to more expensive brands.
