Great little PC definitely punches above its weight!
Where to start? This is a great little PC definitely punches above its weight.So far, I have been using this PC to stream multimedia and I have also use it every day for coding and light graphic design very impressed for its size.Of course, it has come out of the box with Windows 11 Pro installed and was very easy, up and running in no time. My transition to this PC was a breeze.I have to mention it is a very small PC sitting on my shelf and humming very quietly.Also, I have done minor BIOS tweaks, you hit the delete button as it is booting and enter the BIOS menu, under Advanced tab > Power Mode – changed it to “Performance Mode”, if it is not already and upped the UMA Frame buffer Size to 8G, it comes out of the box set to 4G. If you are not sure you can find videos out there to learn more.If in doubt customer service is very helpful too. I highly recommend this PC.

A mini marvel
This Geekom A6 packs lots of power into its tiny form. The AMD Ryzen 7 processor, combined with 32 Gb of RAM is more than enough for everyday use and more.It runs Microsoft Office easily and is quick. The aluminium chassis is similar to the Apple Mac Mini, but in an even smaller size, it is quiet in use and has enough ports for the usual needs. The sound quality is tinny, as expected with such a small speaker, but I use a bluetooth speaker which works very well.A very competent pc, with excellent support staff. Would recommend.

Update, still think an excellent PC but can be a bit fan noisy when busy. I purchased this for use with my home studio for music production. After a couple of days use I can say that at the moment it seems fantastic and an excellent purchase. The unit is well made, connectivity very comprehensive. Most importantly for my purposes it seems very quiet in operation. Highly recommend.

I replaced an old full-height tower PC with this. It’s way more capable, it’s the size of two cigarette packets and uses a fraction of the electrical power. Whats not to like?

Benchmark favourite for a mid range audio workstation
Tested this as a dedicated digital audio workstation for producing audiobooks, VO, commercials, etc and benchmarked it against the Apple 2023 Mac mini M2 Pro chip (10‑core CPU and 16‑core GPU, 16GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD storage) and two slightly lower spec mini pcs.[test was 20 tracks with and without fx/plugins – load and render times and cpu usage]It outperformed all three, was a lower price point and was an easy migration. There is a small amount of noise when it’s under heavy load but not too major if placed outside the booth but may be a consideration if you wanted something totally quiet inside. In that case the M2 pro was pretty much silent on my tests and only a little behind on the numbers.I’m currently on a real-world project with 28 tracks open, 5-6 plug ins on each – izotope, clarity, eq etc and have no lag or long load times.So far, so good. Only minor gripe is that when you switch it off via the start menu you then have to switch it off again via the log in screen. Relatively minor and hopefully something I can correct easily when I have a moment.

Un anno fa avevo acquistato il modello Geekom AX8 Pro che costava il doppio di questo. Il prezzo comunque era proporzionato all’hardware più costoso e premium rispetto a questo A6 (processore AMD top di gamma e SSD con capienza doppia). L’avevo acquistato per sostituire un vecchio pc desktop e mi faceva ben sperare viste le recensioni positive per poterlo utilizzare anche da gaming e per il video editing. Cosa che purtroppo non sono riuscito a fare. Probabilmente avevo ricevuto un pc difettoso perchè proprio non ci riuscivo a fare nulla, andava in thermal throttling e si bloccava non appena facevo una cosa semplice tipo anche scivere una recensione su Amazon. Fatto il reso. Rimborso avvenuto rapidamente, l’assitenza di Amazon non si batte. Alla fine sono andato nuovamente su un PC desktop per il gaming e il video editing. Come avevo scritto nella recensione dell’AX8 Pro, ritengo che per poter fare egregiamente quel tipo di lavoro sia necessaria una scheda video adeguata e un impianto di aerazione del pc che permetta a tutte le componenti di lavorare al meglio. Ad un anno di distanza però, visto anche il comportamento del servizio clienti di Geekom, che dopo la mia esperienza negativa ci ha tenuto a contattarmi e farmi un omaggio per dimostrarmi che ci tengono alla qualità dei loro prodotti e il fatto che coumunque avevo bisogno anche di un PC da usare come media center e poco spazio a disposizione, ho pensato di dargli un’altra possibilità acquistando questo A6. Per questo compito ho pensato che non era necessario andare su un prodotto top di gamma ma questo pc poteva essere sufficiente. E dopo una settimana di utilizzo non posso che confermare che il PC fa egregiamente il suo lavoro e anzi mi ha stupito per la sua qualità costruttiva e le prestazioni sono anche meglio di quanto mi aspettavo da questo hardware. Fra l’altro è molto silenzionso e la ventola si fa sentire solo quando il PC è sotto stress, ma niente di più di quello che farebbe anche un pc portatile. Per ora promosso a pieni voti. E scusate la lunga recensione ma volevo un po’ riabilitare il marchio spiegando il perchè avevo fatto una recensione del loro precedeten PC dando solo una stella. Recensione che ho provveduto a modificare. Un prodotto difettoso può capitare a tutti e non tutti hanno un servizio clienti così efficiente. BRAVA GEEKOM!

Excellent mini-ordinateur. Emballé avec soin, de façon très rationnelle et optimisant la place, comme tous les produits de Chine,de Taïwan, Corée ou Japon.En une heure mon Geekom A6 était opérationnel avec Windows 11 pro installé et tous les branchements effectués. Aucune mauvaise surprise . Il est silencieux, ne chauffe pas. La fente pour carte Sd est la bienvenue, tous les ordinateurs n’en possèdent pas maintenant. Il est très compact, au point que lorsque on a été habitué aux tours on se demande si c’est sérieux, si c’est un vrai ordi ! Eh! bien oui, c’est une machine vraiment efficace. Effectivement, le seul léger hic, il n’y a pas de lecteur- graveur de Dvd du fait de sa petite taille, mais même les iMac n’ en possèdent plus , ils vendent par ailleurs des lecteurs specifiques Apple, belle hypocrisie commerciale. Moi qui possède des centaines de Dvd il va falloir que j’en achète un.J’ai eu affaire à leur Sav pour un renseignement d’ordre technique, ils sont d’une efficacité et d’une rapidité remarquable. Je suis sûr que Geekom est une marque sérieuse, pour qui veut un mini-pc c’est vers eux qu’il faut aller.

Actualización a 7 de marzo de 2026:Después de rebuscar un mini PC que respondiera a mis necesidades elegí este Geekom A6 en configuración 16GB de memoria y disco SSD de 1TB, con Windows 11 Pro como sistema operativo. Edición ligera de fotos, juegos ligeros, multimedia. No necesitaba un procesador de última generación ni unos gráficos espectaculares.Tras algunos problemas (ver más abajo) el dispositivo de sustitución llegó a mi casa a principios de enero después de las festividades de Reyes. Remarcar la atención por parte de Geekom, que contactó conmigo posteriormente para asegurarse de que había recibido el dispositivo, dándome indicaciones de uso y pidiéndome contactar de nuevo si tenía problemas. Desde luego una atención al cliente de 10.Después de retirar todo el bloatware del sistema operativo de Microsoft y toquetear el sistema para optimizarlo, conseguí reducir el consumo de RAM en reposo desde más del 60% anterior a algo más del 30% actualmente (ver imágenes de referencia).A pesar de un par de reboots fantasma al apagar el equipo, en estos meses no he sufrido problemas inherentes al dispositivo, únicamente algunos asociados al sistema operativo (Windows 11 Pro) y sus actualizaciones.He podido jugar sin problemas a videojuegos como The Cave, The Mark of the Ninja o X-COM: Enemy Unknown a través de la plataforma de GOG. No se trata de juegos de última generación, pero los ha manejado a la perfección incluso con opciones gráficas altas.Este mini PC es muy compacto, más pequeño que un Apple Mac mini M4, aunque necesita un transformador de corriente externo (ya incluido) y no dispone de altavoces integrados. Para mi gusto es bonito (con mucha inspiración e el producto de Apple) y tiene los puertos suficientes, aunque serían de agradecer en otra combinación en el frontal.El producto ha estado a la altura de mis necesidades y de mis expectativas en base a sus especificaciones, que son suficientes para mí. Prometedor, pero decepcionante.Durante los días que lo he tenido procedí a configurar el sistema operativo a mi gusto, pausando las actualizaciones automáticas, eliminando bloatware y ajustando el comportamiento de inicio y aplicaciones para optimizar sus 16GB de RAM. Apunte: teniendo en cuenta los 4,3GB reservados para la gráfica integrada, sólo quedan disponibles 11,7GB de memoria.Un fallo que observé durante estos días que lo he tenido en mis manos ha sido que. después de apagar el mini PC a través de la opción desde el sistema operativo, volvía a encenderse minutos después. Las primeras veces que sucedió llegué a pensar que no había llegado a apagarlo, pero después pude comprobar que este A6 se encendía por sí solo.Tras varias búsquedas en internet leo que es un problema conocido de su procesador AMD, un tal “ERP Mode” y modos ACPI, de manera que hay que actualizar los controladores.Lo dejé para un día más tranquilo, pero en uno de estos reinicios fantasma el mini PC decidió actualizar Windows sin consultar ni solicitar confirmación. Tras varias horas de actualización al 100% me vi obligado a forzar el reinicio y recuperación del sistema, pero el mini PC dejó de reconocer cualquier periférico conectado por USB: ni teclado ni ratón, ni via wireless ni por cable.Tras varios intentos de ponerle solución decido devolver el producto y valorar otras opciones que no me den problemas técnicos como estos con tan sólo 4 días de uso real.Este mini PC prometía, pero ha resultado una decepción.
