Earbuds that badly wanted for years!
So, I’ve had these earbuds since they came out, and I have to say that I loved them!I had the Openfit Air, and they were good, but these are an upgrade on a different level. The comfort is amazing. I can wear them, and they mostly blend into my ear. Only now and again did I feel them, but that’s due to my small ears, I think. Having buttons to control them is much better than touch, as I don’t worry about accidental touching. Good if you fidget around with glasses, which, by the way, they handled well. Glasses or sunglasses, all good here. I only need to charge them every now and again as the battery just lasts for ages. I charge maybe monthly, and they do hold their charge even if you haven’t touched them for a week or so. Having the extra Dolby audio is a nice touch; it does make a difference.Now, the sound from these, compared to the Openfit Air, is again levels above. These earbuds are loud, and I mean seriously loud. I only need lower levels for volume as I turn it up too loud, which would blow my ears off. But one downside to these is that they can’t handle very loud environments. That would be like the tube and noisy streets, such as when a road sweeper goes by or sirens blare. The sound from them will overpower the earbuds.However, aside from that one downside, these earbuds are the best and what I’ve wanted for ages. With my small ears and my past with irritations and infections, I finally have a pair of earbuds that I can carry around for most situations. I hope Shokz improves things further, as these 2+ are almost perfect. Dog walking, working out at home, in the office, and shopping in the center—a lovely pair of earbuds that don’t block my ears.Worth a try at least, especially if you’ve seen the Air and Pro versions but want something in the middle!

Quality sound, impressive finish.
What a surprise when I turned these on and turned the Dolby setting on in the settings section. The sound that was emitted was such a smooth rounded sound. The reason I say this is because I also own a set of Shokz Openfit Air which are very good but this new set are like Day and Night there is such a difference. There appears to be an increase in listening volume when out in the street which is much better compared to my other set. The battery on these is much better than my Openfit which I appreciate. I fully charged these before starting my Audible books and one month later they are still over three quarters full. I use them every day and the battery is very impressive. I also enjoy the security of these as they sit on my ears and have never had them slip or fall off my ears in all activities that I do. They are also very comfortable when wearing my glasses or sunglasses and sometimes forget they are there.I also own a set of Sony WF-1000XM5 which are brilliant for listening to music and films etc but I have suffered with them falling out when simply chewing or just work loose over time. I have tried multiple changes of ear tips but never found a successful fit to overcome this problem. They are very good if sat and still but frustrating when looking for the Buds when it drops out.I wish these had been out when I first starting to use Earbuds as I can honestly say these have been far superior to anything I have used before. When I have received a phone call the callers have been surprised when asked if the call quality was good and everyone has thought I was sat in a quiet room. This must be down to the noise cancellation setting turned on in the settings. Another quality I have found is the the fact I now don’t suffer with ear irritations which I would suffer with if the Buds weren’t kept scrupulous clean.I am so impressed with these Openfit Buds and when I have changed the setting for various sound listening from voice to standard and then to Bass the difference was notable. These are beyond doubt the most useable set of earbuds I have used compared to over ear to earbuds tips that I have come across.I can recommend these after one months usage and cant find any issues with these while I have been using them. They are a definite massive jump in sound quality and would not hesitate to buy again.

Les écouteurs sont d’une excellente qualité. Très légers, ils s’oublient instantanément. Ils sont pensés pour ne pas tomber, on peut donc bouger énergiquement, ils restent bien en place.La matière est très « onctueuse » extrêmement agréable.La qualité du son est très pure. L’autonomie est très bonne.Le bouton physique de commande est très vite pris en main. Les clics peuvent être personnalisés, moi j’ai conservé ceux proposés.Une appli permet d’effectuer les ajustements de son selon nos préférences.Le boîtier est de grandes dimensions comparativement à celui des écouteurs Apple. Mais je le savais en effectuant mon choix et la raison qui m’a conduite vers les shokz open fit 2+ l’a emportée sur cet aspect pratique, car en effet, en plus de profiter d’une qualité de son très limpide, les écouteurs n’obstruent pas le conduit auditif et permettent de rester à l’écoute de l’environnement. Je ne voulais pas m’isoler en les portant, c’est parfait!Le petit bémol est que lorsqu’il y a du bruit autour de soi, on doit forcément augmenter le son pour continuer d’entendre ce qui provient des écouteurs.L’autre bémol, (humoristique celui-là) est que lorsque je chante j’entends maintenant à quel point je chante faux 😅… avec d’autres écouteurs, j’avais l’illusion de maîtriser cet art! 😂Je ne regrette pas ce choix.Sur les photos, il y a une protection en silicone vert, mais le boîtier de rangement est en plastique noir, la protection n’est pas incluse.

Shokz OpenFit 2+ are excellent in the open ear headphone category. The sound quality is great, whether for music or a phone call, being clear and well balanced. They are comfortable to wear, and the app has a few decent features and options. The first 20% of the battery drains quickly… Not very heavy on bass, but it’s acceptable compared to others I have used. The price is somewhat high.
