Great Mesh Router
I have been using this in a mixed WIFI 7+6 Mesh setup with Asus TUF AX-5400 and 2 x Asus AX-RP58 nodes for a month now. Two nodes are connected via Ethernet Backhaul and one node is connected via 5GHZ backhaul. I haven’t experienced any issues and all my WIFI 7/6/5 devices work perfectly with this setup. I was looking for a feature rich router with dependable WIFI 7 / 6GHZ signal strength and ASUS TUF Gaming BE9400 definitely met all my needs.

Long setup process rewarded with good Wi-Fi
Took me 3 hours to set up, if your house uses Copper Cables for broadband set it up as an Access Point for the BT Smart Hub using LAN to LAN and completely ignore the WAN ports.The range is incredible with much lower latencies.I experience a low 9ms ping on ethernet, and 20ms ping on Wi-Fi.

Perfect for HomeKit
Perfect for my HomeKit setup on a fibre connection. Previously I had WiFi 6 router and extra extender- and constant disconnects on HomeKit cameras and devices.With this bad boy all works flawlessly, no lag and no disconnects! Have Ethernet switch with Apple TV and and gaming console plugged into gaming port. Internet latency also right down to to 2ms from previous 11.

Good performance and value.
I found this router incredibly easy to set up as an access point alongside my existing Sky ISP router. The process was straightforward and hassle-free, even without diving too deeply into the more advanced configuration options. It’s worth noting that some of the router’s features are disabled when operating in AP mode, so I haven’t yet been able to take full advantage of everything it offers.In terms of performance, it’s been outstanding. I consistently get over 500 Mbps on Ethernet with average 10ms latency for desktop, and around 480 Mbps over WiFi on my laptop, which is very impressive.My main reason for purchasing this router was for wireless VR streaming, and it has exceeded expectations. I can stream via SteamVR at around 350 Mbps with no stuttering or noticeable latency, making for a smooth and enjoyable experience.Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it, especially for high-bandwidth wireless use cases like VR.

Couldn’t get this working at all
I worked with networks for years and couldn’t get this thing going. Must have been faulty had to return it. 2 faulty Asus routers in as many months, won’t be buying again.

Pedazo de router a un precio de risa en Amazon Segunda Mano. Yo no le he visto nada y funciona perfecto en los 4 meses que llevo con él. Recomiendo Amazon Segunda mano con productos “en buen estado”, 0 problemas y descuentazos increíbles. La cantidad de dinero que me he ahorrado ya. Y si te la quieres jugar con productos en peor estado y sale mal, lo devuelves o tiras de garantía.El router, en comparación con la competencia, este router es muchísimo más barato y te vale para lo que quieras. Puedes hacer redes separadas, domótica, VLAN’s, mesh con antiguos router Asus… para un usuario casero estándar esto te sobra.Yo lo uso con una ONT Nokia de 10€ de segunda mano por ser la red de Jazztel (Orange).Si no te has enterado de lo que he puesto, este no es tu router.A ver lo que dura porque TUF no es la línea top de Asus, pero tampoco es la más baja.

Seit ich den ASUS TUF Gaming BE9400 habe, ist mein Netzwerk kein Thema mehr.Die Einrichtung war so einfach, dass ich kaum etwas einstellen musste – und trotzdem läuft alles perfekt.Die Reichweite ist unglaublich: Egal, wo ich bin, das Signal ist stabil und schnell. Kein nerviges Ruckeln mehr beim Streaming oder Zocken!Was mich besonders freut, ist die Flexibilität, man kann so viel einstellen, dass man wirklich das Beste aus seinem Internet rausholen kann.Der 2,5-GBit-Anschluss ist ein Traum – endlich keine Flaschenhälse mehr, und die Verbindung ans WAN? Einfach nur zuverlässig.Nach einem Monat kann ich sagen, dieser Router macht einfach Spaß, er funktioniert, sieht gut aus und gibt mir das Gefühl, dass ich für die nächsten Jahre bestens ausgestattet bin, wer ein sorgenfreies, schnelles Netzwerk will, sollte zugreifen!

La verdad estoy muy decepcionado con la potencia del WiFi del ASUS TUF-BE9400.Lo compré para reemplazar mi anterior ASUS RT-AX88U, que ya empezaba a tener fallas de conexión, pensando que este modelo sería un salto importante en cobertura… y fue todo lo contrario.La señal es mucho más débil, incluso comparada con el módem que me da mi proveedor (ZTE ZXHN F62 con 4 antenas de Megacable), el cual sin problema cubre toda la planta baja de mi casa.Hice pruebas colocándolo exactamente en el mismo lugar del módem (apagando el de Megacable para evitar interferencias) y:La señal WiFi llega con mucha dificultadEs inestable e inconsistenteLa intensidad es bajaLa red de 5 GHz prácticamente ni apareceSolo la banda de 2.4 GHz logra funcionar… pero con muy poco alcancePensé que era configuración, probé distintos ajustes, actualicé el firmware y todo sigue igual.Por cable funciona perfecto, como cualquier router, así que si lo quieres únicamente por sus puertos 2.5G, adelante.Pero si tu prioridad es la cobertura y potencia WiFi, este equipo queda a deber —y por mucho—.Sinceramente, por el precio vale más comprar un router más económico para la conexión cableada y usar un sistema Mesh para el WiFi.
