Looks good, works good and by golly, sounds good too.
This replaced my 20 year old Denon receiver which failed. Great piece of kit which connected to my original cabling exactly. Some of my older inputs only have RCA connectors of which there are only two on this machine all the rest being HTML. I looked on Amazon and found a converter RCA-HTMI but this needed a USB power connection and there is a USB connection on the back of this receiver.This receiver is great all round with the addition Bluetooth which allows direct connection to my iPad. It also has digital sound TV pass through that I connect with a current Toslink connector but an ARC HTMI connection could also suffice.All my older and newer kit works properly even my 30 year oldTechnics tape deck which sounds sweet through the above RCA-HTMI connection.It came securely packaged on time and undamaged, it is quite heavy, and just looks cool.

Setup: PC with RTX 4070 OC → Denon AVR-X1800H → 55″ 4K TVI upgraded from an old Denon AVR-2310 (1080p era) because 4K called for something fresher.Sound: Running a simple 5.1 setup with Monitor Audio speakers. It sounds great—clear, solid, and immersive.Setup Experience: Pretty straightforward. The on-screen guide is actually helpful if you don’t connect your source device first—odd but true. Speaker calibration and wiring was a breeze.Downside: The 1800H isn’t quite as punchy as the 2310 was at the same volume. I have to crank the volume about 25% higher to get the same loudness and impact. Not a dealbreaker but noticeable.Overall: For the price, it sounds solid and does the job. Not mind-blowing, but a decent step up for 4K home theater.

Great item shipping crap
Item is great once I worked out how to adjust the levels and the input level. The delivery was terrible from DHL advised it was coming at a certain time and never came no update till next day delivery driver just left parcel in Porsche and didn’t ask for signature of which I was told he should have, box was undamaged and fine to my suprise.

company who sells them don’t refund you when they are faulty
Piece of cr** bought one last year and it didn’t work correctly one of the ports was broken. I returned it and got refund so I ordered a replacement. however my daughter bought 2 and had different fault they both kept turning off when you switch them on. I think the company bought a faulty batch or just sell rubbish to unknowing public? and don’t refund you.

Good receiver – very happy with it.
Love it.Very good for the price point. Purchased to replace a failed Onkyo receiver, this drives all the Onkyo speakers (including up-firing Atmos jobbies) perfectly.It’s slightly deeper than all my other receivers and amps so, in a ‘normal’ sized enclosure it will stick out slightly – I think this is due to the twin wifi aerials at the back.

Replacement AVR/Receiver for my old pioneer one.
I brought this AVR/Receiver to replace my old Pioneer one which i have for many years. Unfortunately i couldn’t afford the replacement of the original one so i bought this Denon oneSetup was pretty easy and the sound quality ( although not as good as my Pioneer one ) was good.I did have an issue with remote control which stopped working during the setup but the Seller were very good and ordered me a new one which took approximately 3 weeks to arrive but once i got the new one it worked fine. In the meantime i downloaded the Denon remote control app which did the trick in the time being. One tiny niggle is the occasionally the App and the settings on the device disconnected but switching of the device at the plug the switching if back on sorts it.
