Good camera
This camera is a lot lighter than an slr. The zoom is good and picture quality grand. Only downside seems to be poor battery life. We have bought a spare.

Fabulous camera
I took ages trying to decide on buying a bridge camera. I’d reached that stage where I couldn’t justify carrying around a rucksack full of SLR’s Lenses etc. so the Leica lens and the level of technology and massive zoom led me to buy this camera. I’ve not put it down since I bought it. Great quality images effortlessly. Very versatile. Sturdy and perfect sized. I cannot find anything about this lovely mini/ midi sized camera that I don’t like. I’m off to Scotland for the new year and I’ve already made my mind up that I’m only taking the bridge camera!

Great camera with fab zoom
Bought this to replace my old camera and it arrived on time. I was very excited to find it had a 122 x zoom, perfect for me. Picture quality is great.The one BIG negative, hence 4* rating, is that it doesn’t come with a charging cable and uploading cable….so frustrating. Contacted amazon who advised me of a suitable cable to do both, it arrived but didn’t fit and had to be returned… I then found a 2nd cable supposedly suitable but nope that didn’t work either. Contacted Panasonic direct who were polite and apologised for this issue but didn’t fully answer my issue for a cable to upload pictures, but did offer an option for a charger…spoke to hubby after getting so frustrated and he came and sorted it in 5mins…my hero. If you have a mac book pro like me….your cable for the laptop fits the camera and so solved my dilemma….why couldn’t Panasonic put that in their camera booklet…..anyway hope this helps someone else….now I can use my camera and be happy 😊

Pleasantly, genuinely surprised!
I had a p900, I sold it on, and always regretted it, but this little beauty more than compares to that camera (apart from the longer zoom range obviously), with it’s added features; like 4k video and RAW capture. It’s also a lot lighter than the Nikon super zooms, making it great for travelling. I’ve already gotten some fantastic images with this great little camera, it’s NOT dslr quality, but it’s not meant to be! Yet it is capable of producing GREAT images and video. One major upgrade from the p900, or the previous iteration of this model, is the viewfinder. I haven’t found an evf on any camera that I thought was really good, until now, it’s amazing; large, beautifully clear, and a joy to use, the rear screen, although non-articulating it’s also, bright, clear and sharp. These features alone for me make this an excellent buy.There IS a learning curve, especially for beginners,, but it’s really worth the effort learning all it’s amazing functions. I Highly recommend the book (available here) and YT videos from Mr. Graham Houghton; the ‘master’ of this model of camera (imo).

Great camera
Great camera, easy to use and hold, with a great zoom. Light enough. I had a previous model for years and it doesn’t disappoint. It has a viewfinder and screen so you can choose when taking shots. Haven’t tried video yet 😊

Decent camera with huge zoom.
Well made camera which takes good quality photographs, with huge zoom and very good image stabilisatpion. Guide with camera too short for the complex settings that this camera is capable of, so you do need to download (246 page) pdf guide.

No card, no charger, no cable
this is a really nice camera, but I’ve only given it 3 stars because of what is NOT included in the package.There is no memory card and no charger or charging cable. So beware–it arrives unusable!I found this very annoying as it was NOT noted on the product description and is very relevant if you are giving it as a present.

Die Panasonic Lumix FZ82D ist eine wirklich gute Bridge-Kamera und bietet mit ihrer Brennweite von 20mm bis 1200mm (Cropfaktor 5,58), ihrer Technik und den Programmen P, A, S, M, 🎥M, C1, C2, SCN (24 Motivprogramme), 🎨(Kreativmodus mit 22 Filtereffekten), iA/iA+ (Vollautomatik/mit Korrekturmöglichkeiten) und den wirklich vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und Funktionen genug Potenzial, um in sämtlichen Bereichen der Fotografie richtig gute Fotos und FHD/UHD-4k Videos zu machen. Allerdings sollte man sich damit befassen, wie die FZ82D funktioniert und zumindest die Grundlegenden Fotografischen Kenntnisse und Zusammenhänge von Belichtungszeit, Lichtempfindlichkeit, Blende und Brennweite kennen/erlernen, andernfalls wird man nur selten ein befriedigendes Ergebnis erhalten und das muss wirklich nicht sein. Mit den richtigen Einstellungen leistet die FZ82D in jeder Situation sehr gute Arbeit und macht hervorragende Aufnahmen! Ich bin jedenfalls absolut begeistert und froh mich für diese geniale Bridge-Kamera entschieden zu haben.PS. Gegenlichtblende, Displayschutz und Stativ auf den Foto’s sind natürlich nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten😉

Kaliteli fotoğraf makinesi ama,Fiyatını hakettiğini düşünmüyorum.Bu rakamlara çıkınca çok daha kaliteli makineler var. İyice araştırmadan almamanızı öneririm.Makinenin kablosuz bağlantı özelliği yok, yani hafıza kartını çıkartıp pc ye bağlamanız şart.

This is a small lightweight camera with a good zoom lens so as an all round travel camera it’s very good. The quality is acceptable for social media use but obviously can’t be compared to a professional DSLR camera. For me personally it has allowed me to take the camera with me on more trips than I would have done with my DSLR.
