The Insta360 X5 Essentials Bundle is a genuinely impressive bit of kit. From the moment you start using it, it’s clear this isn’t just another action camera—it’s a completely different way of capturing your experiences.One of the standout features is the removable protective lens covers. They’re a simple addition but make a big difference, especially if you’re using the camera outdoors or in more rugged environments. It gives you that extra bit of confidence without compromising image quality.The camera itself is packed with features, and paired with the Insta360 app (as well as the desktop software), you’ve got a powerful editing suite at your fingertips. There’s a lot you can do—arguably so much that it can feel a bit overwhelming at times. You can definitely get bogged down in the editing process if you want to fine-tune everything. That said, the payoff is worth it, as the results can be seriously impressive.What really sets this apart from traditional action cameras is the 360 capture. When you’re out and about, you don’t need to worry about framing your shot—just record and decide later. It captures everything, which is incredibly freeing and means you rarely miss a moment.I’ve also found the footage to be noticeably more stable compared to other action cameras I’ve used, which makes a big difference when reviewing clips back.Overall, this is a brilliant 360 camera that offers a lot of flexibility and creative potential. If you’re willing to spend a bit of time getting to grips with the editing side, it’s a hugely rewarding piece of kit. I’ve been using the Insta360 X5 for 3 months now, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The video stability is amazing, and the clarity is outstanding. Even at night, the night vision quality is excellent and captures clear details. Battery life is excellentThe app makes editing very easy and user-friendly, which saves a lot of time. The camera itself is also easy to handle and very convenient to use.Overall, it’s a fantastic camera and definitely worth it.
