Amazing camera, high performance,great quality
I recently purchased the Eufy Security SoloCam E42 4K Solar Security Camera with the HomeBase S380, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best wireless security cameras I’ve ever used.The setup process was incredibly simple and straightforward, and the app is very easy to use. Everything is clearly laid out, making it quick to get the system up and running without any hassle. Even if you’re not very tech-savvy, you shouldn’t have any trouble.In terms of performance, this camera really stands out. I’ve tried several of the top brands before, and this one beats them by far. The video quality is excellent, and the overall reliability is top-notch.One of the biggest highlights is the battery and solar panel. How good the make are
Best camera I can find from web site it very easy to setup without any problem just use the micro sd card rather subscription these the best one I can find the video it 4K and zoom which it good plus got solar panel to keep in charge and it still 100% for 4 weeks now, WiFi no problem I didn’t need a S380 Homebase because I used micro sd card instead and got these lovely alarm and flashing lights on these camera it really very loud by using the app on phone if anyone came near my property and click alarm to make them run away, I get notifications pop on my phone app to let me know if anyone here also gone out for a day that no problem so am happy with now I just brought another one more for the front of theproperty.

Great quality bit of kit
Very easy to set up and connect.The cameras are first class, clear pictures and fully automatic.They upload to the base station which is also very easy to use.The app covers all and adding more devices to the homebase is easy.I added a 2T solid state hard drive which I got the home base to format and was very easy to fit.I have 3 cameras and a door bell all saving to the home base which it copes with admirably all easily accessible with the app.

Ok of close to the WiFi or Homebase
Picture quality is ok. Bit of a struggle to set them up with the Homebase as can’t connect it to the garage it’s too far away. My old Ring camera worked better at the same distance. Can’t seem to connect them to my WiFi extender. I bought the solar ones so the battery life I can’t comment on yet.

Easy to set up. Great picture quality.
I bought these for my house following some nefarious nocturnal activity in the area. These cameras are easy to set up and link to the base unit. Picture quality day and night is excellent. There are no ongoing fees. It is easy to access the video remotely. The solar panels do a great job of keeping the batteries topped up. After charging the batteries when I first got the cameras, I haven’t had to charge them again.

Very reassuring home surveillance
Fantastic item. Bought this as an Amazon deal so saved money too. Best mounted on a corner so the camera can see along 2 sides. You can set a home position that they will return to after tracking movement. ( note: these will only pick up movement if the object can be seen by the front of the cameras as this is where the motion sensor is )I like the way this uses AI to recognise people, pets,car motion or any other objects so these can be tailored to your needs regarding what you want to be triggered to record. You can alter the sensitivity of them from 1-7 to minimise false alarms. You can set recording duration from a few mins once triggered or to stop recording after the motion has stopped to save on battery life.It generates AI tracking clips that merge footage of events from cameras that recorded the same movement. This is very impressive, as it has upscaled my 2c cameras included in my setup to provide motion triggers and footage too.The night viewing is superb. Settings can be altered from Infrared only to floodlit which provides plenty of light on the area being recorded.This replaced an aging Eufy set up that worked superbly but needed upgrading.My only little niggle is the plastic brackets that hold the cameras is very flimsy and doesn’t provide a positive connection . They give you the feeling that they will fail in time!I find myself attaching them and then checking several times to make sure the cameras don’t pull off!You will need to extend the memory of the base unit as it only has 16GB ( around 14GB usable ) which won’t last long with 4k video capture. The upside to that is that a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive will fit within the base unit itself. 1TB for around £35-£50 which is very easily formatted by the base station.A well recommended purchase especially as once it’s fitted correctly with the included solar panels, it will work with very little maintenance to clean etc.

Turns out the sun does exist in Ireland. Who knew?
Honestly, I bought these expecting them to be about as useful as a solar panel in a cave—because, y’know, Ireland. But somehow, magically, they actually work. Like, the solar panels charge. In Irish weather. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft is in these things, but I’m not asking questions.Setup was absurdly easy thanks to the HomeKit integration. I basically blinked at my phone and everything connected like it was 2099. I half expected Siri to bring me tea afterward.Picture quality? Stunning. Like, “is that my face or a 4K rendering of regret?” kind of clarity. And the facial recognition? Incredible. It knows who’s at the door before I do. It spotted my brother and immediately judged him.I ripped out my old Ring doorbell and tossed it into the sea (metaphorically… mostly), because these are 100 times better. Maybe 150. Who’s counting.Buy them. Especially if you live somewhere with clouds, rain, and the occasional appearance of the sun so, Earth.

De momento súper contento con este sistema. Tiene muchísimas funciones y tipos de configuración. La calidad del video y del audio es excelente. No he tenido ningún problema de carga con los paneles solares (incluso este invierno que fue brutal).

Make sure you have home base 3 if you are buying only the camera. It was a little challenging to configure. I tried to connect with my previous home base 2, but it’s not compatible. I bought home base 3, and it’s working.

Super Bildqualität und Bewegungserkennung, bisher kamen alle Benachrichtigungen sofort aufs Handy. Der Akku wird durch die Solarpaneele immer voll geladen und gerade tagsüber ist die Bildqualität fabelhaft!Einziger Minuspunkt in der Anwendung ist die Zugriffsgeschwindigkeit nach Pushmitteilung auf den Stationsspeocher, da die Videos dort verschlüsselt liegen und diese zum Streamen zunächst entschlüsselt werden müssen. Wartezeit zwischen 4-10 Sekunden schätzungsweise. Zugriff auf den Livestream dafür recht flott. Alarmfunktion und Gegensprechanlage habe ich bisher nicht getestet.Bisher super zufrieden und kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen – kein Abo notwendig!
