Forget everything else!
Seriously…orget about the others under £100. I have an off-grid camper and in the 10 mile radius of my home, the signal is dire. I normally can’t get any signal AT ALL in my home or the car park. I wanted to spend about £50 on one of the sim hubs for when im away fishing or hiking, but after reading A LOT of reviews, I opted for this Tp Archer for a bit more money because it has the 4G+ feature. I’m very pleased I did. This thing will give me 30Mb+ consistently in the car park (unheard of!) and 60mb+ regularly. There is no set up, and I mean NONE! Put the sim card in, switch on, connect device using the simple password on the router. That’s it! Total plug n play. Never having issues. Never buffering. Never needed an additional antenna. Great bit of kit at a most reasonable price for the stress free connection you get. This is the one you were looking for. Trust me 👍🏻

Works well. Works easily. Painless, decent broadband at last.
Bought this to assess the viability of 4G/5G broadband. Our landline-based broadband is very poor (more than a kilometre and a half of copper before the line reaches fibreland) – but we also have limited mobile connectivity – only one mast offering a strong signal and that’s restricted to a single carrier (despite what the coverage checker of at least one other would claim). Our phones only see flickers of 5G on one side of the house so I thought I’d start with a (much cheaper) 4G router. It’s been a massive improvement, especially for upstream speeds which means Zoom/Teams now works in decent quality without having to stop anything else accessing the Internet. The router itself pulls a good enough signal with the built-in antennae and offers decent configurability and information for a consumer device – so very much plug, play and be happy. (I think I’d go for something that allows easy installation of dd-wrt or similar firmware next time round but I can’t say the lack of extra features and functionality is bothering me).We had one nearly-24 hour period where the 4G signal vanished (this affected phones too: enough signal for voice calls but not for data) – I suspect a fault or maintenance on the one reliable mast I mentioned earlier. Nothing to do with the TP-Link router, of course, but for this reason I’m maintaining the landline Internet for another year or so. It currently just feeds a couple of things via powerline Ethernet and works well enough for that and it’s a simple cable switch/re-activate the Wi-Fi to put it back as the main broadband.Another TP-Link product that offers really good value for money.

Works well
Decent router, easy to setup, speed is good for 4G.I am disappointed that the router has been out and returned at least once. I paid full price for a new product hence the 4 star rating.I am using this router with a Bingfu 4G LTE Antenna https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B095KCHW56/?coliid=I15MSOM3J7LFBI&colid=3BL84BGPW6XED A good combination, the antenna is very cheap.Beware, not all networks provide decent data speeds. I am with Smarty which runs on the 3 Network, the speeds in the screen shot are what I get on 3, others may be faster and others will be terrible. Its not always the hardware if your having problems. Check your local tower on Cellmapper.

No broadband, No problem
Recently purchased a 4G Unlimited Wifi contract with EE after moving home. Broadband connection in our area with speeds of up to 60mbps at the top end so was looking at other options. The device that was provided is diabolical. On the plus, their service is great.Popped the sim into this class bit of kit and works like a charm. Better signal and faster speeds. Dual bandwidth helps connect all devices in our home without issue. Have been able to connect PS5 wirelessly with no fault (Parental permissions had to be changed with provider beforehand). It would not work with the provided device from EE. I will update if issues occur when connecting other systems e.g. Xbox, Switch. We have medium 5G signal around the house and high to moderately high 4g everywhere. Have only tested the device in one area and reach and stability has been good in a three storey terraced house. If you need a 4G router. This is the one! I researched other models such as the Archer MR500 and highly recommend the MR600 V3 over the latter. Speed test provided is from connect upstairs with router downstairs. Have had max download speeds of 150Mbps so far.
