Awesome Camera!
I love Tapo cameras. This is my second one as the first one was so simple to install and connect, the app allows you to have up to 36 cameras to be connected to the same device. The video quality is amazing for the price of the camera.I like all the different setting on the camera so you can focus in exactly where you want the camera to pick up any movement. You can also turn on function like person detection, Line crossed detection, camera tampering, you can also turn on a alarm which is great if you see someone on your property.The night vision is great (tip, if you are using the camera pointing out of a window turn off the night mode and then the camera will be able to see out of the glass)I like the LED functioning lights so you and others know that the camera is working. Even though the camera is not the smallest people do not notice it, so its good that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb on your property.Another tip – purchase a good quality Micro SD card as the cheap ones can sometimes cause problems with the camera unable to record.The Tapo app is so easy to use which is a big sell to me as I want to be able to see quickly what is going on outside.Ill defiantly be buying more Tapo cameras in the future.

Very good value, highly recommended
These are very good and superb value though it must be noted they need a direct 9 volt power supply, they are not battery powered. The clever bracket allows several mounting options and there is no need for subscriptions as they record to a micro sd card and the recordings can be viewed and downloaded via the app. – there is also a live view option with record and snap shot functions.. Night vision is good and can be enhanced with a switchable light and the camera can be set to track the movement detected.The only little gripe is that the app does not allow individual notification sounds to be assigned to each unit.I bought the first one last September for the front and a second one in March for the back of the house and am delighted with them

Good value, but not perfect
It’s a good price. The video quality it decent, and the hardware seems fairly solid. I dropped it on to concrete from around 4 feet and it survived without a scrstch.I use the Tapo app to control around 15 devices.It does have it’s issues, but they’re not big issues and they do seem to be improving slightly with updates. My biggest issues with this camera are the motion sensing features. As with most cameras, on night vision they pick up rain as being motion. In my case if wanting an alarm to trigger if someone enters my property this is annoying. I opted for the version with ‘AI person detection’. Load of rubbish. So far (around a week) I’ve had a fox, cats and even a few magpies register as people. Yet I’ve walked Infront of it and it often doesn’t sense me as being a person.The view back feature is fairly quick.It’s a tidy unit, but they could offer it in black to make it stand out less. It’s relatively easy to connect, and I’m able to share it with family.Night vision has a great distance with a good field of view on both Infrared and daylight LED. The LED function seems a bit temperamental though. Seems to have a mind of it’s own.Mounting was fairly easy, but they should supply either washers or flange head screws. I get the feeling the supplied screws are wanting to pull though the mount.I have recommended this to a few others, because I do think it is reasonable value. Just don’t buy it if you’re expecting a reliable source of motion detection in British weather.

Great camera for peace of mind
Honestly a great camera. After using an alternative much more expensive brand the WiFi couldn’t reach it at my garage. I shopped around and fell onto the tc65. Now I was skeptical but nah this worked perfectly, WiFi range was double and the features are great. We now have our back wall protected!One of my fav features are the boundary intruder alarm. If anyone crosses it we get notified instantly! great buy

Great value for money.
Surprisingly good quality for the price. Easy set up, no requirement for cloud subscription as long as you use an sd card. Bought with the extension plug in cable and it connected to the wifi effortlessly. The motion detection and person detection are really good and help identify events through the continued recording. Bought this to supplement our ring devices.The night vision automatically switches and is impressive.Overall for the money 10/10
