An excellent, durable and long lasting kettle
Good kettle, no issues, has an anti limescale filter and boils fairly quickly. It is an upgrade from the previous model. The kettle looks great in black, good colour. Very easy to use, durable, and heats up quickly.

LEAKING ISSUES – TALE I CAN RELATE
Oh boy, we’ve got four of these in the house. That’s what happens when you’re a germaphobe like Nick – he worried one wasn’t enough. So impressed with the design, really. Perfect something and then clone it, right? Pure genius, except all four leak in the same spot. Brilliant. My son’s stuck in a loop with these kettles. He loves repetition. Very comforting for him. There’s a minor design fault that’s slightly annoying. Not a problem, mind you. But try reassuring an autistic germophobe about it – eventually the staring stops. At the kettle, not at me, thankfully.Did I mention I noticed the first one was leaking before I bought the second, third, and fourth? No? Well, I did.I named them after the Teletubbies, naturally. Dipsy, Laa-Laa, Tinky Winky, Po. My son wanted Noo-Noo, the Sun Baby, and all the Tiddlytubbies too. Can’t fault his taste.Thinking about installing solar panels now. The coloured light’s good for autism, helps with the excessive staring. Multiple signals, you see. “Norris, what’s the world record for the longest stare?” Ask an oldie what that means. My hearing’s going, by the way. I can see the light on but can’t hear it over the telly. And before you ask, no, it’s not always Teletubbies. Sometimes it’s the Wombles, Roobarb and Custard, or the Eleven Dwarfs playing cricket. This kettle’s got a honeycomb-textured finish on premium black plastic. Looks great in the kitchen, really stylish. Apart from when you actually use it and the base leaks everywhere. Raindrops keep falling, as they say. A musical kettle would be brilliant for autism, though.Boils one cup in forty-three seconds, apparently. Must be a cup for a cricketer, because mine takes forever. But imagine a singing kettle – we’re leaving together, but still, it’s farewell. My son comes from Mars, anyway. There’s boil dry protection with a window even I can manage. Ask my son if he’s ever turned on an empty device. Mystified. Never happens because he stares at it before, during, and after. Two in my bedroom for a germaphobe. One minute – think of all the uses for a kettle? Don’t challenge a germaphobe on that one.Premium design at a price you can afford, honeycomb-inspired with stainless steel accents. Goes with everything, presumably. Value for money, that’s what matters.Should mention to the oldies – this is a cordless kettle. There have been a few improvements in our lives. We won’t complain about technology if it takes us back to childhood, literally.Would I recommend the toaster? “Thick and brown all over.” It amuses me that there’s a picture of poorly toasted bread on the box. Not great that.Better not show my son that photo or we’ll end up with four toasters.Enough toast for the entire cricket team. Don’t mention the V word, though.
