A Great Way to Tidy Up Your Desk
I recently got this UGREEN vertical laptop stand to save some space on my work desk, and so far I’m really happy with it. My old setup was just a mess of cables and my laptop sitting open next to my monitor, and it always felt so cluttered. This stand has made a huge difference.The first thing you notice is how solid it feels. It’s made from a heavy aluminum alloy, and it’s got a nice weight to it. You can tell it’s not going to tip over easily. It has a nice matte black finish, and it just looks really good and clean on the desk. You get a little screw to adjust the width, which is super easy to do. It says it fits laptops from 0.47 to 1 inch thick, and I was able to get my MacBook Air to fit perfectly with no trouble at all. The non-slip silicone pads on the inside of the stand and on the bottom are a nice touch, so you don’t have to worry about your expensive laptop getting scratched up.I’m using it in what’s called ‘closed clamshell’ mode with my laptop hooked up to an external monitor, and it works perfectly. It frees up so much space on my desk. Instead of my laptop taking up all that room, it’s now tucked away neatly and vertically. This is a big plus, especially if you have a smaller desk or just like a minimalist look.Compared to a traditional laptop stand that holds your laptop open, this is much better for saving space. You still get all the benefits of using a second monitor without your laptop taking up half your desk. The only drawback I can think of is that you need an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse to use it properly, but if you’re already doing that, then this is an amazing product. It just does what it’s supposed to do and it does it well, with a really sturdy build quality. The price is also really good for what you get. Frees up desk space, looks very neat
I’m using this with my work-provided Dell Latitude to reduce the amount of space it takes on my desk, as when I’m at home I only ever use it plugged into the dock, with my monitors and peripherals. In this regard, it’s brilliant.My laptop is taking up significantly less space than it did previously, and it looks quite tidy tucked behind my monitors on this stand.The adjustability is good, though I imagine it will work best with laptops that are mostly flat – the latitude does have a slight hump on the rear bottom side to elevate it when laying down, which does reduce contact with the Ugreen dock a bit when slid in.Quality of the dock itself is good, and the adjustability makes it suitable for a wide range of laptops. Definitely good to combine this with a docking station if you don’t already use one.

Best piece of equipment bought this season. Cleans up a lot of desk clutter. Works well on my dell latitude and MacBook Pro. There is lot of room to adjust the fit for beefier laptops.The base or wide and provides good stability. The build quality is excellent.
